I have regular old milkless whole grain cheerios every day!

I'm not a Correctional Officer either, but I am a Social Worker/Classifications Officer at a remand/detention centre in Ontario. The whole reason I started using MFP again was because I had gained so much weight so quickly from the stress eating (aka vicarious trauma eating!). I had watched one of my Sergeants drop an…

Count me in! I started two months ago at 270, I've lost 13 so far with 58 to go until my first big goal - 199 - then we'll see from there. I haven't settled for a goal weight yet to be honest because I'm so focused on being under 200 for the first time since I was like 14!! My girlfriend is vegan so we make a lot of vegan…

I'm not a vegan but my girlfriend is and I'm the cook in our family, so most of the meals I make especially dinners are vegan. I tend to post my good recipes and have my diary open. I'm looking to lose at a minimum 70lbs to get under 200lbs. Feel free to add me :)

Hey everyone! I'm 22, a social worker in the corrections field which means a lot of sitting and bad eating. I started my millionth journey with MFP 55 days ago and I've lost 13.1lbs so far (SW 270, CW 256.9) which is really the first weight loss I've had in a few years. My small goals are -20lbs by Easter, and eventually…

I'm 5'10, SW 270 and 55 days later, CW is 257lbs! Would love to meet other tall friends especially folks over 200lbs with quite a bit to lose. Looking forward to meet everyone!

SW ... 270 CW ... 256.9 GW ... 250 or more! Weigh in Jan 7/17 - 265.6 (-4.6lbs) Weigh in Feb 11/17 - 256.9 (-8.5lbs) Total loss in 56 days: 13.1lbs. Folks I am super proud... this is the biggest lost I've ever had when I've tried losing weight because I'm sticking to it and being honest with myself and my tracking.

Hey all, I'm 22 and looking to lose a pretty large amount of weight. I started at 270lbs and last weighed in three weeks ago at 265lbs. Hoping to get under 200lbs first, then keep going until I find a good place to be! I've been logging for about 40 days and going strong!

Hi everyone! 22, no kids, Im a social worker on corrections which means a lot of sitting and a lot of stress. I started at 270lbs and I'm down 4.6lbs right now but haven't actually weighed in for a month because I don't have a scale at my house and weigh in when I visit my parents - long story. I'm hoping to be under…

Hey! I'm not vegan myself however my partner is and can't cook to save her life so I have become quite the vegan chef. Here are some of our favourite recipes! https://www.delishknowledge.com/easy-vegan-cauliflower-fried-rice/ We just tried this and it's amazing. We tend to make it with a massive side of roasted veggies.…

Hi everyone! I'm Emily, 22 years old and have always been overweight. The most I've lost with MFP was 15lbs about five years ago and have been steadily gaining since. I'm attempting a healthier lifestyle in general through tracking slowly this time (I always try to lose fast and fail, obviously) and quitting smoking at the…

SW: 270 lbs CW: 270lbs GW: 199lbs - I just want to be under 200 for once! I started tracking 16 days ago but obviously at like crap over the holidays so I haven't been on a scale since to see if my CW is still accurate. My next weigh in will be Jan 7/17 - we don't keep a scale in the house so my weigh ins will be less…

I use mine a lot. I absolutely love pasta but hate the calories, and my partner is recovering from an ED so pasta is not something we want on the menu. Every time we have a craving, we make zuchinni noodles with a basic tomato sauce. It's kind of unreal that you can have a bigger portion of "noodles" with less than half…

Hey! I'm 22 with at least 70+lbs to lose. Just trying to get under 200 right now then we'll see where we go from there! Feel free to add me so we can support each other :)

Hey there! I'm not a teacher but I am a 22yo correctional social worker so I find balancing career and health super difficult as well! Would love to make some new friends to keep motivated on here. I've used this app for years on and off with no results. Trying to give it a good go this time around with small goals. I'm…

SW: 270. CW: 270. GW: 250. I won't be super disappointed if I lose less than 250lbs but might as well shoot for 20lbs over the next four months! My long term goal right now would be to one day be under 200lbs. Might be possible by this time next year!

Hi everyone! I'm 22 and I've been using MFP for years ever since I was in high school but I've never been successful in losing more than 15lbs back in 2012 or so. Now, I'm tipping the scales at the heaviest I've ever been, weighing in at 270lbs. I started back on about a week ago with a goal of 2lbs between then and Jan 7.…

Hey Eva! 21 here and have at least the same amount to lose! I'll add you :)

Sending you a request! I have 50lbs to lose to get down to 200lbs and who knows how much more after that!
-
Clicked this and saw you were looking for teenagers and thought hey more friends! Then I remembered I'm 21. At 20 I used to call myself a glorified teenager but I may have to embrace the 20-something label. Adding you, and anyone feel free to add me :)

Can I join? My app says I've gained 40lbs which is the saddest thing to see every day. Way back when I started using MFP probably about 6 years ago I went up and down and at one point lost 20lbs. Now I've skyrocketed back up that 20lbs plus 20lbs more. Sitting around 250lbs these days and the heaviest I've ever been. My…

Hey! I'm 21 and for the past three years my highest/stable weight was 235lbs but with all the stress of an extra job on top of my final year of university, I've gained another 15lbs and have settled at a super uncomfortable 250lbs. My goal is to get to 230lbs and eventually to 200lbs before seeing how much more I can lose.…

I find the same thing with my hands. They get very swollen and I can't move my rings around, let alone try and take them off, at least an hour after I go for my walks. It's definitely normal - I'll try moving my arms more as well and report back lol!

Bumping this post for any other uni students over 200lbs with 50+ to lose!

I wish that I liked eggs more than I do. The occasional egg for breakfast, and boiled egg on a salad work for me, but I can't commit to them on a regular basis unfortunately.

This is good to know. Thank you!
-
Thank you all! I appreciate the input, and I'll head out to the GNC to find something that works for me.

Ah you all make me so happy  It's been cool getting to know you all! I have faith in us that we will make it!

Ahh this is the bane of my existence! I was trying out Jillian Michael's 30 day shred but all the jumping jacks and skipping rope made the girls go wild and now I've hurt my back!! Will look into these Victoria secret bras everyone uses. Was also thinking of doubling up - a DD sports bra, and maybe a D over that to strap…

Been depressed I'd say about the last three years. I have some pretty wicked anxiety along with it. For about 9 months I tried zoloft, then cipralex, paired it with wellbutrin, then took the wellbutrin alone. Nothing seemed to really do it, so I gave up. Recently I've been thinking about going back on it, and they're…
