That stands for: TOTAL ENERGY EXPENDITURE. This shows you the amount of calories you need on a day. If you go under you lose weight, if you eat your tdee you maintain your weight, if you eat more, you gain waight.

Be careful that you don't eat less. Calculate your BMR and TDEE (e.g. http://www.iifym.com/). Maybe this wil give you some insight. Like equus5374 sais: weigh and measure your food.

Someone told me not to eat my exercise calories. I just started for a week and I don't eat them. Maybe you can give it a shot for a week or so and look at the results?

I think that your body needs to adjust after your holliday. Sometimes it will take several weeks for it to get in the right flow. Also go about 200 lower in your daily calories. Try this for about 2 weeks with enough water. I am sure that this wil works! Good Luck!

For now, every day. I just started with MFP en I want to check ony my scale BMI, weigth etc. daily. I suppose when I'am in a degreasing flow, it will be less.
