In my experience, soreness is normal and temporary when switching up routines. I workout through it. I'm no expert, I only have my personal experience :)

I work out after work when it's a work day and in the morning after my coffee and a little down time when I am off work. I plan the week ahead and write it down (in a group here) and that keeps me accountable and keeps my head in the game :)
