Scrambled eggs with yellow grape tomatoes and avocado. I top with a big scoop of herbs that i blend in a food processor (basil,chives,garlic).

I find bread products to be incredibly addictive. Dont leave me alone with cheezits, garlic rolls, cookies etc. I find that avoiding these foods at all costs vs trying to moderate is the answer for me personally. You can melt coconut oil and honey in a sauce pan. Add some roasted almonds and let them simmer for 5 min. Then throw the almonds in a bowl of sugar - let dry on a piece of wax paper.

I sautee yellow tomatos and top with a scoop of chopped herbs ( i mix basil, chives and garlic in a food processor). Add a couple eggs and top with half an avocado.

Hey, small?! I am going to be dying! Just kidding I see your point. Only started thinking about bfast because I stumbled upon some articles tonight regarding 5k prep. Toast seems like a risk-free option!

Thanks guys. I dont typically eat, or run for that matter, this early in the morning. My training runs are usually 10 or 11am. I think I might run the 5k on an empty stomach and eat something immediately after. I thought I was prepared, but practicing what I'd be eating beforehand slipped my mind! Thanks for your thoughts.
