Eating healthy at restaurants may not be healthy. I had a chicken breast burger from a restaurant and it still had 50 grams of fat, 700 calories. Myfitnesspal has been really good with tracking, just started using app 7 months ago

My macros are 45% carbs, so I just watch how much bread and pasta I eat.

I exercise and lift 5 times a week, during the day I have sedentary lifestyle. Have been on low carb, high protein lifestyle for over 15 years and no energy issues.
