Protein balls are great if you want to pack on muscle. If your trying to lose weight... I find I can smash a truck load of them cos their delicious. So probably not good for weight loss.

Set yourself very little(and attainable) goals and smash them.

If you are new to lifting, you will gain strength and size very quick without too much tinkering of your diet. Enjoy your food, ask mom for seconds, your 19, don't restrict(or overindulge) your food/lifestyle.

Make yourself a sandwich the night before and just eat it in the morning. Meal replacements will just give you calories while making you hungry. Protein shakes, weight loss formulas will always be 2nd best to whole foods. Good luck!

Super HD is an appitite suppressant and thermogenic, it has relatively low caffeine compared to other products so as a pre workout its quite poor.

Supplements are just substitutes for the real thing - whole foods will always be better than processed garbage that doesnt even have an expiry date. And get tonnes of sleep in

Your not doing anything wrong, fitbits over calculate calories, especially for walking. All these sort of gadgets do is build estimations on their own formulas.

Fitbit charge hr's are great for tracking steps. Not so much for calories though.

Squats and lunges arent essential. A mr. Olympia named dorian yates was infamous for hating squats and thus never did them. Didnt stop him from having the best physique in the world at the time though.

I have sports induced asthma which basically makes breathing feel like im breathing through a straw, which is no excuse I know but I simply dont enjoy it. Also I find that front squats are fine for me as opposed to conventional back squats. Thought id add that in there since you girls love your squats ;)

Hello! I am also 28 with a herniated disks, my L4 particularly is very bad. I find that if I do heavy lower body compounds (squats, deadlifts, bent over row) it can aggrevate the pain alot. The best thing to do is to build up the supporting muscles such as the hip flexors and core so less strain is placed on the back. Hope…
