There is an awesome depression thread that's been going on for a while if you want to look at it. I personally read all 14 pages and found it super helpeful. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10058170/depression-and-weight-loss#latest (Feel free to ignore this btw if its not what you're looking for) EDIT:…

I'm sorry you haven't been able to hold down a job. That's super rough. I totally feel you on that. Have you found volunteering has helped? I've had volunteer work suggested to me a lot but honestly if I was feeling well enough to volunteer I would just try to go back to my job (personally). I've found that I have to make…

Thanks for this. I really needed this. Having to quit work for now to work on stuff has made me feel semi useless. And it's hard when even "fun" things like hanging out with my friends take too much effort and don't always help me feel better. I want to be able to function again (aka work and semi enjoy things more)

My anxiety. When my anxiety gets really bad and I'm not tracking I just kind of stop eating and then it makes my anxiety worse in the long run.
-
My hair. It never knows what it's doing. Like I hate hair and I wish everyone was bald so that I could be bald. Because I hate hair.

I 2nd this.

I don't need to weigh myself every day just because a bunch of people on here do. And I don't need to lose more weight just cause I read someone else's stats and they were smaller than me. Pretty much over the last two years, I realized I was easily influenced by what was happening around me and I've gotten a lot better at…

A lot of people are going to disagree with you on this just to let you know because daily weigh ins are pretty popular on this site. I think if daily weigh ins work for people to help them track their trends or get more data then that's great. However I do also think that for some people, such as myself, daily weigh ins…

I used to weigh daily until I realized weighing myself daily was making me go crazy even though I realized it was just fluctuations. So now I weigh once a week and I'm less obsessed.

My dog said the same thing when I asked her what the plans were for tomorrow :(
-
At least I know chances are I have something in common with someone I meet on here
-
Lol too bad I was gonna say we could go race our smartcars
-
lol do you have a smartcar too?
-
I wish I had a hot tub. My neighbor has a hot tub.
-
We're here for fitness? I knew I was forgetting something
-
You seem like you have a great attitude! I think you'll be able to get this to work. The plan was inside your head the whole time, you just didn't realize it :) You already know that sticking to 1200 to 1300 calories works for you so go get your goals!
-
Lol It's so annoying tho. I love my car but it's annoying.
-
Well I drive a smartcar so when people tailgate me it literally feels like they're in the nonexistent back seat of my car
-
Exercise. Or go somewhere without food - like I wouldn't go to a grocery store or near my kitchen but I would go to a bookstore or outside or a library

Yes. I make the same smoothie all the time (because I love it and I'm too lazy to try new ones): 1 banana (or a half banana if the banana is very ripe) 1 cup frozen blueberries 1 cup almond milk 1 scoop protein powder This smoothie is my life force. I hate that it's winter because I'm cold all the time and even colder…

Oh wow starting to drink coffee at 11 seems early!
-
You can get brand name stuff at marshals. I go there all the time
-
That sounds like my college diet. Mostly cause I was broke, tired and lazy
-
My weight loss was weirdly linear also but I was thinking maybe that's because I only weighed myself once a week instead of every day. So maybe I just didn't see the fluctuations all the time
-
I'm always cold. I'm also ready for summer.
-
I'm super active on here. I like messaging my friends. Sometimes I'm depressed tho in all honesty. But I consider myself a good mfp friend.
-
You shouldn't need to lower your calories. I would make sure you're correctly counting and weighing your food.
-
I literally can't remember what I was eating in college never mind when I was 16. But I do remember one time in high school I went through a stage where literally all I ate was ice cream sandwiches for all my meals. I did that for long enough for it to become a problem lol nutritionally.

Last year I was in the ER more than 12 times but this year I haven't been to the hospital once so yes I'm happy to be alive. And feeling alive.
