  • I've always done the 16:8 and lost around 6.5 stone (90lb) doing it with regular exercise over the course of about 18 months. All I do is eat normally throughout the day and have my last meal at 6pm, I then fast (but drink water and coffee with a very small amount of milk) until 10am the next morning when I have a hearty…
  • Haha, thanks!
  • I'm hoping to hit the 265lb target by April as i'm introducing cardio back in to my daily routine and hopefully 240 by August
  • I 16:8 fast (although its more like 20:4) on a daily basis and stick to Keto in the times I can eat and losing around 4lb a week at the moment - it does slow down a bit the lighter I get though.
  • Dukan and Keto dieter here and training for Tough Mudder (13 mile obstacle course). Add me for motivation :)
  • On a mission to lose 100lb overall (from heaviest weight a few years back to now) and been followinf Keto/Dukan and IF on and off for a while. Happy to help where I can - add away :)
  • You can eat yourself thin, its more about what you eat and when, than how much. Bodybuilders eat 9-10K calories a day to aid building muscle mass as its needed for energy and for muscles to grow. If you ate 1800 calories a day but they were lean calories (Dukan, Keto) then it should fall off pretty quickly and you'll…

  • I would say 1200 is far too low. Try cutting 2-300Cals out of your allowance each day and you'll lose slowly and safely. It will also allow your stomach to shrink bit by bit so gradually you'll get fuller from the same amount of food. Doing too much too soon will inevitably lead to you failing, giving up and returning to…
  • Manchester user here :) Current stats: 6ft6" - 298lb Goal - 265lb
  • Manchester user here, add me if you need motivation :)
  • Loved it too, even after seeing some people injure themselves horrifically (a young girl snapped her leg backwards after awkwardly landing on her feet from a 10ft wall). That shook us up a bit but still enjoyed it and the feeling of finishing it is incredible!
  • I've done it twice, weighing 260lb and 270lb. Its straight forward enough and aims more towards being a grueling activity than a challenge and is 10x more of a mental challenge than a physical as you will reach all sorts of tired and "i'm not sure I can do this" type of thoughts but believe me, If I can do it - anyone can!
  • I'm following the Dukan/Keto too, feel free to add me if you'd like some advice, recipes or motivation :)
  • Struggling a bit to drop under 300lb as I've been the same weight (exactly) for the last 4-5 days which is a little frustrating as I usually lose 1lb every 2-3 days. Time to step things up with exercise I think :)
  • Happy to help motivate and inspire anyone that needs it, I like to lead by example :) LETS DO THIS!
  • Heres a (not so great) photo of me close to 370lb compared to a 270lb me last year.
  • Mancunian here :)
  • It's a bit of a general question really. It all depends on your needs and requirements, I'm a firm believer of eating yourself thin so that would be the only given here. If you want to build muscle, aim for 3.5-4K cals a day and build that up to 5-6K over a few months. With regular training, you'd put on a lot of muscle…
  • I have a diploma in sports & exercise science which helps when it comes to nutrition and exercise plans but admittedly, I don't always practice what I preach. I've always been able to lift heavy and could squat 220KG at one point in time but that's not my goal any more. I don't want to be a monster or beast anymore as I've…
