Agree, slow down, but keep going!! Starting a new program is supposed to be hard! I'm 36 now and find exercise is not the same as when I was 26. If you keep going, you get stronger and faster... Best advice is it gets easier! Check in for support and let us know your progress :smiley:

No one really likes routine exercise... It's a means to get results (better, faster, stronger). Listen to the other suggestions... Get out there and move. You may not enjoy the activity at first, but you'll like the results!

Everyone is different....now that I'm 36 I can't eat high salt/carb foods and be satisfied. I'm at 1200 cals/day too.... I've traded scones for brown rice and turkey sandwhich for black bean veggie bowl. The high fiber helps keep me full. I have yogurt for snack... It helps keep the hunger down.

Find other ways to make yourself feel better... Like bubble bath and go to bed early. Sleep will help with stress too. If that doesn't work, I'll share my celery! :)

Also.... Eat at the table not the tv or computer. When I eat at my desk at work, the food just disappears and I don't remember eating it! Hah :) I need to make time to eat mindfully too.

What kinds of meals? Obviously sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, veg will work....You can boil instant rice in the microwave if you don't want to use the stove. It freezes well for leftovers.

Breakfast today--1 cup instant brown rice and some vegetable mix with 3 green olives. I don't like eggs all that much so this works. It's easy to prepare ahead. I like some of the other non-traditional breakfast ideas here too!
