5'11" and 170lbs. I started at 230 3-4 years ago. Just wish I'd tone up now.

I'm 5'11'', 170lbs and usually a size 10. I've been anywhere from a 6 to an 18. It always amazes me when other people, usually shorter, say they are also a size 10. We all come in many different size and shapes.

I'm in, its been 7 days now. I've had some cravings because of boredom and depression. Its hard to admit to yourself the booze is not good for your depression and is probably making it worse. I've been taking Wellbutrin for some time now and it doesn't do much to quell my cravings to drink.

I'm 5'11'' and 169 lbs. Hoping to get to 165 by the end of January or February.

Good luck, you got this!

Way to go! I'm on day 6 sober. Trying to do a dry January 2017 to see what happens to my weight and state of mind.

I'm waiting for some more snow to get out and revisit x-country skiing and snowshoeing. Its been a couple of years since I did either one.

People who say "Just do it" have no idea how difficult it can be to a depressed person to get things done. It's really unhelpful to think that way to motivate yourself. The word "just" is dismissive, negative and it shows frustration with yourself or who you say it to. If you knew how to "do it" you would be doing it…

Just for Tuesday: Leave the house to run an errand (it'll be the 1st time I've left the house in 3 weeks). Walk 20 minutes or 1 mile on the treadmill, whatever comes 1st. Do something nice for myself. Try to smile.

Depends on what you are boiling the chicken in. Here's my recipe: Put chicken in pot. Cover with water or broth. add splash of sherry/vermouth, if you want. 2 tsp of dried herbs, whatever you like. 1 bay leaf. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low. Partly cover and simmer 10 minutes. Turn off heat, let sit in hot bath 15-20…

Started at size 18, now a 10, like to get back to a 6 but would settle for an 8.

I see my macro goals are wonky. I don't know what to set them at.
-
According to a couple of online body fat calculators, my body fat percentage is about 29%. My macros layout is the generic MFP standard. I have trouble hitting the protein and carb macros. I thought the daily recommendation for protein was 56 g, but MFP is telling me I need something like 103 g!

I gained 70 lbs 4 years ago due to depression and the meds I was taking to combat it. I've managed to lose about 55 lbs of that. Some of that weight loss was due to more depression and not eating enough. I've subsequently lost a lot of muscle mass because of the rapid weight loss. Now I'm getting my meds straightened out…

First challenge, I'll try for 24 miles.

I gained the 5lbs back from stress over the past 3 months. I was just angry with MFP for about a week and didn't log anything or keep track for a week. Now I'm back to eyeballing my food and logging it. Thinking about getting a food scale and being more accurate.

What is a good one to get? There are so many to choose from and so many different types...
