I am pissed a little. I have been walking and eating within my allowance (not clean though) and I have gained half the lost weight back. It happens with me every time. if you don't want MFP to pull that data, go to the more section in the app and you ll see a subsection "steps". you can select "don't count steps" option there. If you want your phone to stop tricking all together, you can go to privacy settings of your phone and edit the motion tracking settings.

I was able to pull my skinny jeans up.. cant button them yet.. but that pair simply refused to go beyond my upper thighs a few weeks back. could at least get them all the way up. Next step is buttoning them up..

my minigoal now is to finally become a regular at the gym. Been on and off gymmer for wayy too long now.

Holiday again. Minigoal is to log every single thing that i put in my mouth. Its impossible to stay away from the yummy food but if i log it I will most probably stay at my goal. BTW: the yellow dress minigoal- done and dusted..

why dont you try setting smaller goals? and then have small food/non-food treat for yourself once you achieve it. it will give you a sense of achievement early on and stop you from getting demotivated and feeling bad. I have obsessive tendency (self diagnosed, not clinical) which makes me overthink and overanalyse everything and further pushes me in depression. working out helps me block the overanalysis and use my energy more productively..

my first post here.. I had 3 mini NSVs yesterday. Collegues at work commented on how fresh I am looking, the dress I was wearing was quite roomy yesterday and at 10 pm, hubby dearest said that I looked as if I had just consumed 10 energy bars (this was after all the cooking and cleaning.) Totally made my day :smile:

I agree with this. Give him a few days to cool off. Take away the nagging. Keep telling him how wonderful it feels to just walk or workout. Then you can ask if he wants to join. If he does then you can escalate it from there. He needs to figure it out for himself. You can motivate him, but nagging wont help. It will simply…

This week I am aiming to get 100 mins on treadmill and 50 mins on the elliptical machine. I have been putting off going to the gym for the longest time now. I got back today and happy to report no weight gain.. i feel a bit bloated though (i dont like the way water tastes there) so might be able to see some small loss in a couple of days once the water goes down.. next minigoal.. go to the gym at least 10 times till end of the month..

one generalisation i read was you burn the same number of calories as your weight in kilos per kilometer (a 50kg person will lose 50 cal/km). No idea about the accuracy though.
