Sounds similar to me. I was in the 160s, went down to 145 and now I'm heavier than before at 170! I went clothes shopping and everything looked so awful on me I literally drove straight to the gym to sign up for a membership. Hoping I can keep up with it this time. I always give up after 6 months or so.

I'm in the Chicago suburbs. And yes, I've been looking and have a few 5k's and 10k's in mind for the next few months. I've done three 5k's in the past. I'm hoping to be ready for the 10K polar dash this upcoming January. If not, I'll just do the 5K.

Thanks for the responses! And I've gotten blood work done, there's no underlying medical problem. That's just been what my hair does for as long as I can remember. I have very fine, brittle, damaged hair. During the day I do shed a little bit but in the shower is when it really comes out.
