It's not easy at all. For me, I try and counteract it with fiber supplements, tons of water(sometimes you think you are hungry when you are thirsty), and eating low cal foods that are easy to eat tons of like lettuce. One tip I can suggest is trying low carb. Just picking a diet with foods low on the glycemic index. Blood…

Thank you guys, you are awesome!

I'm still unsure about meat cuts, but the book implies trimming off fat. Its probably because its an deep calorie deficit. They choose to amp up your protein for certain reasons instead. Which is ok by me, harder to mess up on protein. At some point there will be a maintenance plan, hopefully doesn't involve lean cuts when…

Thank you both for those ideas, :D everyone here is so knowledgeable. I hadn't thought of putting protein powder in my coffee, would that count as a protein snack? Because I cut my sweet cream creamer a week ago and feel like my coffee is missing something.

I didn't even think of boiled eggs, that's a great idea. I did pick up string cheese and the nonfat yogurt with the lowest carbs I could find. Yogurt is probably less convenient to take on the go since I would have to measure it into another container before hand I think, so eggs sound perfect. I'm really excited to start…

Thank you, I really appreciate the advice. Some times its harder to see the bigger picture. I know what you mean about the people, I quit using the mfp boards for a long time because it felt like whenever I asked for help (had a different account) people were nasty and hateful. I don't see the point in acting like that…

Thank you so much! I saw some people on youtube who said it worked for them, but I wanted to hear if it was worth it from real people if that makes sense. I'm not sure what veraion I recieved, but since I've got a love/hate relationship with bullet journaling I decided to just use that instead of a DAP. I thought about…

Thank you guys :). I certainly dont plan to fork out the money for the online program they offer, but I took a gamble and bought the ebook. Spending 3 dollars on literature instead of a Mean Bean Monster seemed a fair trade. I've wasted money on worse things lol. It does appear to be really low in fat compared to what I…

Congratulations <3. The video is really nice :).

I've never thought of trying that, that is an awesome idea! What brand do you use? I used to use vanilla protein powder in my breakfast smoothie a long time ago. I'd take milk, a banana, and peanut butter and blend it with a scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder. That is a cool idea I'll try it.

Thanks! I've never tried swerve, so I'll give that a shot. I don't have a big sweet tooth, it's mostly just my coffee, so I don't mind if I have to spend a bit more since I don't go through things like that very fast. I've got someone else on a sugar free life style in my house who isn't as picky so anything I don't like…

Just my two cents, but I think this false in shades of grey rather than being a clear cut thing. I believe strongly in body positivity for all shapes and sizes. And loving yourself as you are can be a strong motivator to bettering yourself. Think of it this way: People who hate their bodies and can't find ways to love…

I will hunt that up. I don't mind paying extra if it means I have a nice cup of coffee that I can feel guilt free about! Thank you so much for the information, I didn't know that.

I have been considering this. Most days I just do a cup or two with maybe a couple tablespoons in each. I make my coffee last a bit most days, but if I am off work I find myself getting an extra cup or two. I'm trying to cut as much sugar as I can from my diet and many times I'm happy with black coffee, especially iced.…

I love Torani as a brand. I used to be a barista and it made for great beverages. But I can't have the sugar free versions because it makes my migraines worse. My dilemma would be much aided if I could just buy ordinary sugar free products :(. It took a lot of trial and error before I figured out that artificial sweeteners…

I didn't realize that Truvia had anything in it that would give an aftertaste, I might have to give a different brand a try and see if that changes how I feel about it. And I haven't yet, but I think I will try to find those about and see if it helps. I've heard those mentioned in keto recipes but never got around to…

Wow, that is an interesting idea I will have to look into. I was doing this lazy thing where I force myself to go to the gym and I would get on a cardio machine and tune out the stuff on netflix. Met my low habits as well as my attempts to exercise. Made it less daunting to leave the house if I ignore people and am…

I followed a pretty good plan. I always walked to the gym, stretched. Started with muscle workouts, ended with cardio. I rotated what I focused on and made sure not to overdo it. When things would get easy to do, I'd gradually increase the difficulty. I love exercise. I felt amazing and good about myself when I got into…

I've had some trouble with the challenges page, nothing appears. I don't know how to join one. I was thinking similarly that it would be a motivator. I'm a little worried about running. I have very little success when I've tried to use a treadmill. I like the idea of it, and I keep downloading and Uninstaller that couch to…

I'm okay with the idea of losing slowly. Any progress is good progress to me. Though, most days I don't meet the calorie goal. Unless I dine out or having a really crappy day where my food options weren't good, I usually stay under the calorie goal easily. I used to have a harsher calorie goal and other than not liking it…

I was just looking into that. Do they make any like that that aren't watch style? Being in the food service industry I wash a lot of dishes and do a lot of cleaning. I'd hate to ruin it. But I would be comfortable giving that a go, I've heard great things.

Ooh count me in. I don't know what I've do if I didn't have some amount of curve. My body would probably feel foreign. I want to be fit and strong but I'm not going to put myself under the pressure of today's "beauty ideals". I love my thighs, maybe they could use a little help though. It's more my stomach and arms that…

Sorry, that came off horribly grouchy. I have been on this site in the past and constantly felt on the defensive when I sought help. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm just trying to play everything by the book this time. My health is a constant struggle, and weightloss being the hardest. I have luckily stopped gaining…

Actually, that goes against the medical basis of weightloss, or in the way that's phrased, starvation. When the body thinks it's starving it kicks in a natural physiological response. Eating too few calories will not cause weightloss. There's a reason that there is a suggested deficit and recommended loss per week. I want…

That's what I did I think, went with lightly active. Better under than over I assumed. As for the setting it at sedentary, the calorie difference is pretty steep for me I am pretty sure with the goal being 1.5 lbs weightloss I think. Considering my current weight and my goal weight, the calorie limits are questionably…

Thank you, I appreciate the help. And I have a good scale, I just need to make myself use it lol.. I let my busy life get the best of me sometimes especially with food.
