New and Struggling
Hey there. New to this group but not to MFP. Struggling with going gluten free, and looking for friends and tips. Every time I am doing well lately I get sick by accidentally eating something that I thought was safe. It was mayo this time. Figured its time I find a group because my partner and I are trying to figure out…

1byone scale and tracking
Does anyone else use it? And since its a smart scale with bluetooth, does anyone know of any apps other than the default one that could connect to it and MFP? I know there are other scales out there that do, but in terms of price this was my best option.

Will eating carbs harm my loss?
I might have to temporarily reintegrate carbs back in my diet due to budgeting issues. I get paid every two weeks and with my job change pretty much every bill fell on this check. I might not have enough money for groceries at this point to keep on track. If I stay with or under my calorie goals will I still be okay? I'm…

Protein and Collagen? Recipes?
So I saw a lot of low carbers raving about isopure (creamy vanilla usually) and collagen peptides. Eager to try it out aince the labela read as awesome I bought some. But now I am at a loss for how to prepare it. First time I blended the protein powder with ice and cold coffee. Was okay but it separated fast enough. Next I…

Normal or not?
Is it normal to have to pee a lot? I am doing the lindora diet and I'm on my 3rd protein day and I am peeing often. I'm not even drinking that much fluid. I didn't have test strips my first day but yesterday my strip looked somewhere between moderate and large and today it said large, so I just started ketosis.

Lindora?
Anyone tried the Lindora plan? Bought the ebook version of their "Lean For Life" book, I don't live close enough nor have the money to fork out to be in a supervised program. The book has the whole program and lots of advice in it and so far what I am reading seems good. I suck at counting calories. I love working out, I…

Sugar alternatives?
So I am pretty okay cutting added sugar from my diet and I try to steer towards foods low on the glycemic index and etc. I just have one problem. Coffee. I need my coffee, tried giving it up and it wasn't worth the trouble, not to mention I just love it. I'm struggling with what to do when I want that sweet coffee, though.…

Struggling to be consistent
I've been struggling on and off for a few years. I have bipolar disorder (not trying to make it an excuse but it is a hindrance) and I love fitness. Once I get going it gets easier every day and I want to do it more. The problem is with work and life I always slip, one way or another. And once I slip it gets easier to skip…

Healthy eating for two? Picky partner..
So I love eating healthy. It's not hard to get me to eat well. My major downfall is a combination problem. One is my picky partner, the other is my budget. Getting her to eat outside meat and pasta is incredibly difficult. So in my past attempts to eat well I ended up cooking separate meals which is both time consuming and…

Resistance bands in your routine?
A while back I bought resistance bands to help overcome some of my exercise hurdles. Starting with something is better than nothing, you know? Do you use resistance bands? And if so, what exercises work for you? I have black mountain ones that are stackable and have handles.

Calorie limits and days off?
So I work two jobs, one very physical (Grocery store deli where we also prepare various types of chicken, mostly night shift where heavy equipment cleaning and maintenance occurs) and one fairly active (barista at a coffee shop, not too much heavy work but a fair amount of cleaning, and usually on my feet the whole time…
