Thank you so much for posting. Was getting discouraged after only losing .7 in two weeks but you are right - it will take time to do it right! Thanks for keeping me motivated.

I usually take a walk at lunch or in the am. Today it will be about 97 with high humidity and already 80 degrees out at 6am. So I noticed half of my yard was in shade and though it was boring I walked the shady part for a half an hour. Would have never done that 4 months ago. :)

Bump

It took me 40 pounds to let go of the "fat" clothes. Once someone at work told me what I was wearing was too big I realized I needed new clothes. So off to the sales racks and consignment shops I went.

WOW what a difference - can I ask how tall you are.

Instead of music I listen to a good book on my Ipod. I get so engrossed in the story I forget that I am doing cardio.

My mini goal is to break out of the 200's by the middle of August - 7.6 to go!

Good for you! When you imagine holding 7 bags of flour and one pound of butter in your arms kind of puts in perspective have much pressure we have taken off our bodies!

I am having the same issue and have found a near by consignment shop that carries clothes in all sizes that has helped defray the cost.

You should be proud of yourself! Great job.
