  • @skippygirlsmom I don't know your situation or if she has other health issues. But that sounds quite similar to something my daughter experiences when she has a high temp. They're called confusional seizures according to the paediatric neurologist she sees. We watch for them every time she has a high temp now. They're…
  • No running for me today
  • Another 3.5km done today :-) brings me up to 10/30km. Life is just way to busy here right now. Competition dance season is getting in to full swing for my daughter now. It's officially a zoo!
  • @juliet3455 Bahahahaha yeah our summers here are warm an average days is 30C lol, if I don't run in the early morning before it heats up I don't run period! I don't need to get arrested for running naked lol.
  • Ok so another 3.5km for me today of walk run combined. :-) so glad it's not cold out, you don't want to know the kind of layering I have to do for -25C. Brings me up to a total of 6.5km out of 30km for the month :-) feels so good to run again. And my knee brace felt less weird today :-)
  • This time around I'm carrying almost 100lbs over my healthy weight range. The joys of recovering from injuring my ACL. The first time I started running as anything other than a torture my coaches in high school would use was to lose weight. I was 70lbs over the healthy weight range for my height. And I had that down to…
  • First 3km, walk run training done for me. 27 more to go. It still feels weird to run with my knee brace on. I feel like it changes my gait a bit. I'm sure I'll adjust to the change eventually, but for now it feels slightly off. I have yak traks here and they're indispensable for the road conditions here.
  • Yeah I'm an outdoor runner until about -25C with the wind chill. Any colder than that and even with a mask it hurts my lungs. I'll use the treadmill at the gym if I have to but I don't like to. You do get used to it after a while and winter here is 6 months of the year, I like running to much to not run that long.
  • I'm excited to join this group. After rehabbing my ACL and going through physio I'm so happy to be able to be able to start training again. I've run plenty of 5ks 10ks and 2 half marathons. I live in Saskatchewan so our winters suck but I'm going to persevere through it. I'm just beginning training again with walk run…
