I've lost a human head, and still need to lose about an average 2 year old. LOL!

I finished month 1 of Insanity and just started month 2 yesterday. Holy soreness! It was hard, but not as bad as I thought when I read up on what the workouts would be like. I feel like I can keep up more, I'm more flexible, my endurance is definitely better. I still stop alot and take breaks, but I'm doing it!!

I just finished C25K about 2 weeks ago. Love this program! I'm now running 3-4 miles a few times a week. Next up, C210K :)

Nope didn't realize. I don't think it matters if this thread can help others.

I've been running off and on for 2 years, this year I finally got serious about it and finished the c25k app and now I run 3-4 miles a few times a week. My goal is a half marathon sometime in the future, so right now I'm just building up my endurance and my mileage. I'd love some new friends on here if anyone wants to add…

C25K is an awesome app! And if you are huffing and puffing or it feels too hard, slow down the pace. You have to work on endurance first, worry about speed later. I only start to pay attention to my pace around week 6 or 7, when you are able to run those 22 or 25 minute runs without dying. And repeat a day or a week if it…

I haven't had that problem, but my fitbit used to automatically post my runs/workouts to MFP and it stopped doing that. Now it just shows a calorie burn

I have curly hair and I workout 6 days a week and wash my about 2-3 times a week depending. It's so bad to wash your hair everyday. You can always just rinse it out with just water and a little conditioner if you are one of those people who find it impossible to shower without washing your hair lol..
-
Also, if you're tracking your c25k runs with another running program, and you include the warm up and cool down, remember that is affecting your pace. I didn't really care about my pace until I got to like week 6 and was running those 22 minute runs. Then I would only track the run itself, not the WU and CD.. I finished…

You said they've been running much longer than you. That explains it. Running takes consistency and persistence as far as I'm concerned. I run about a 10:30 mile, but some days my miles are 11:00, some days 12:00. Everyday is never the same. And you're running, so that's what counts. If you feel like it's too easy, you may…

I do PiYo once a week, because I go to classes by a beachbody coach who also teaches Insanity and Cize, different days of the week :) PiYo is awesome...looks so easy but it's not, you can tell it works!

Yesterday was Cardio power & resistance. I almost quit when I got 20 minutes in, then 30 minutes in but I made myself push through even though I kept stopping A LOT. Feels good to finish the whole thing regardless of how much I stopped though. I will get better and stronger!

you can always go to iifym.com and input all your info there and they'll give you a starting point of macros for weight loss. that's what I use then I input it into mfp as close as it'll let me. Mine is 30% carbs 35% protein and 35% fat

I'm doing my last day of week 2 today then it'll be onto week 3 on Saturday for me! Ive done the program before and made it to week 6 (that first 20min run in week 5 was crazy) then I did a color run and quit running for awhile. But c25k is truly awesome, and for me running is more mental than anything. I have to start out…

I did plyometric cardio circuit yesterday and I hatedddd it haha. I stopped before finishing the last 10 minutes.

I started this program a bunch of times over the past 4-5 years. The furthest I got was week 6 and then I did a color run right around Christmas but fell off after that and never finished. That was the closest I got. And I really really want to finish and be able to run a full 5k!! I'm on week 2 right now (just finished…

I work full time and also have 2 kids. I either wake up and do it before heading to work, which can be rough because I wake up at 5:45am and leave home at 6:30am.. but I prefer to do it after work. That either means getting home and doing it RIGHT AWAY so there's no excuses to skip it, or doing it after I get other stuff…

I do love my fitbit but it's not necessary for weight loss. Mine was a gift thankfully otherwise I probably would be too cheap to buy one. I love seeing the date, my sleep quality, and making sure I move more during the day because I sit at a desk for 9 hours a day and never realized how little I move until I started using…

I started because I wanted to lose weight and look better. I was always active as a teen but then after having 2 kids I got lazy, life got in the way, whatever. So I gained weight and was very out of shape. I know how good exercise is for us as humans. But once I started, I loved the feeling it gave me to finish a workout.…
