I've been working on transitioning to a whole food, plant-based diet. It's hard because I'm trying to win the family over, as well.

Hi! I'm a mom of 6 (12, 10, 9, 6, 4, and 8 months), and I'm trying to lose 70 pounds. I'm trying to adjust everyone's palates to healthier eating, and we're making some progress, but it is hard. One of my biggest problems is portion control, so I'm back on MyFitnessPal to help with that.

Sounds like you're off to a great start! It's great to have long-term goals in mind, but it can also be helpful to take it one day at a time. Each day, I have to decide to make healthy food choices for that day. If I focus on one day at a time, keeping my long-term goal in mind, it's a lot less overwhelming!
