I love my spiralizer! I do zucchini, yellow squash, and sweet potato fairly regularly. Cukes are fun too, I use them for a fun take on cucumber vinegar salad in the summer. Apples and pears worked too for desserts and snacking.

We did yesterday. It was rather glorious! Grilled salmon, potatoes, and apple crisp (swoon). And a lovely beer to celebrate our love ;) feeling motivated again today, so no harm done!

Boobs first, then thighs from previous experience. I'm sure stomach will be last, since it's what I'd most like to get rid of!

Indian sounds amazing! And wine always does  I had a cheat day yesterday for Valentines. It was rather glorious but the back of my mind was thinking about the calories too. Today I had a tiny weight increase, but overall it was worth it to spoil myself a bit. Back on the wagon today with no real harm done!

6 lbs a week!! That sounds to me like my husband and his friends comparing fish they caught ;) I don't know the stories or stats, so the fish might have been that big or there might be other factors too. The only consistent advice I have seen is that exercise is for fitness, eating well is for weight loss. Don't stop the…

I'm rereading Reamde by Neal Stephenson. I love everything of his that I've read, Anathem is my favorite book and I read it at least once a year. Cheers to all the fellow Sanderson fans! I just finished Elantris and The Emperor's Soul. Both are highly recommended. I also recently devoured Ready Player One. It's a really…

I try to remind myself that they worked for what they have, and I can do the same thing. I don't know how long someone has been training or working to get where they are. This doesn't necessarily work for everything though, I won't make myself taller by working out or eating better. And bra envy I might be able to change,…

I think 4 lbs in 4 weeks is great! So is starting to walk more and more and working it in to your daily routine. I'm too novice to everything to have much advice, but stick with it! I started at 1200 calories and decided it would be too hard starting out, so I bumped myself up to 1400. I'd rather take it slower at the…

Even just starting I love having all the extra data. The fluctuations don't freak me out. I'm off to check out Trendweight, thanks for the rec! The other part to the equation is that if I don't start a daily habit I will forget to weigh myself at all. Not the end of the world, but again I like the extra data!

This is really awesome advice, thanks for sharing! I'm an emotional eater and a stress eater, so I'll binge when I'm anxious, bored, etc. I don't have a solid solution to my own tendencies (yet), but so far it has helped me to eat snacks away from the kitchen, and to just take one portion with me. I'm also trying to focus…

I'm a sucker for under armour and north face! I'm also cheap so I browse a lot of clearance racks :) Alo is an awesome brand, it's really high quality so you are definitely getting what you pay for with it.

Yes I do! My current goal clothes are my short shorts from before the baby weight :) I can fit in them but they look like I should be wearing capris lol. Goal 1- look good in the shorts. My ultimate goal is fitting into my LBD again. I love that thing, but it is way not going to fit at the moment. Soon enough though!

I don't have a huge amount to lose either, but my clothes are definitely tight. I can see both sides, but I personally don't want to buy a whole new wardrobe for just a short time. I don't see the tight clothes as body shaming but as motivation to keep at it! These jeans fit when I bought them, and they'll fit again soon :)

Did I write this post? I'm so sorry for your fertility struggles. I have a similar story, right down to the year and a half of nothing. To add to it I now have clomid weight to lose! With IUI (and potentially IVF) on the horizon I'd like to be as healthy as possible to up our chances as much as possible. All the best to…

Yes- summer! Hello short shorts and swim suits. Does that count? :)
