What're you eating & how much? Usually when I eat things high in fiber such as beans, fruit, & veg I feel full but not weighted down. Also, exercising will help so if you can get your workout clothes on push yourself to go do something. Tell yourself just 10-15 minutes & if you're still feeling sluggish you can stop.

Listen. Google tricked me! I'm new to my area & I've never been to a dietitian or a nutritionist or a total wack job. I also wasn't aware of what I had gotten myself into until the wierd toe scan started. I'm just a concerned parent that got steered in the wrong direction.

Thanks for confirming. I'm disgusted at how much money she's making off of scamming people. You're a nutritionist who isn't concerned with our diet?! Red flag!
-
I never thought that people would start asking me how many calories were in certain food items...& that I would know!

Aye aye captain!

"If you only do what you can, you will never be more than what your are." This is from Kung Fu Panda. It's so inspiring when children's movies make adult want to dig deep.

I'm a pretty ballsy chick. I've been bald twice in my adult life. Once to start my locs & another with the alopecia. During both times I worked my *kitten* off & was in the best shape of my life. It's amazing what you focus on when men aren't hitting on you as much.

I have alopecia areata! I'm not excited about it however, it's nice to meet someone else struggling with it. My first patch occurred 3 years ago (also after a life changing event). I had dreadlocks at the time & cut them off. I went through with the cortisol injections for a few months & stopped due to the development of…

I can hold up my leg by myself while getting a pedicure! While I was holding it up, I could feel & SEE my quad.

I have a 4 year old & just recently miscarried. It's impossible that I'd be pregnant.

I think my TDEE is 1680.

My husband is your boyfriend's twin! He's naturally thin & can eat all day long without gaining an ounce. He kept bringing home junk for me until I started saying "I'd love to eat that but the way my goals are set up..." It only took him a few days to notice that I was serious & he jumped on the…

Try the Opa Greek Yogurt Ranch. I wouldn't touch that *kitten* (any ranch, no matter the brand) with a 10 foot pole but my husband loves the stuff. Also, I think it's like 60 calories a serving.

Add me too! I'm looking to lose 50 with 11 down so far.

I'm interested in weighing once a month. I've been doing it weekly & it's been working out fine however, I'd like to be excited about getting on the scale instead of dreading it. The real trick would be how to stay away from that damn thing for so long.
-
I don't think this is true. You eat what I cook or you don't eat. Period. After a couple of nights of forgoing dinner, they'll eat whatever you put in front of them.
-
Thank ladies! I'll look into it further & decide what the hell is going on.
-
Sorry :/ It is now. I measure my food using cups & a scale.

First & foremost, EFF whoever has anything to say about the amount of children you have. As long as you & your husband are financial stable & can be everything you need to be for those kids, have as many as you'd like. However, I do agree with not having anymore until you get to a weight that is going to be healthy for you…

I'm a 26 year old mom with a 4 year old & my goal is to also lose 50 lbs. My life isn't NEARLY as hectic as yours but, as moms, we all struggle. First things first, clean up your diet. Eating a balanced diet is going to provide you with more energy. Also, if you have to pick between the treadmill & sleeping it shouldn't…

Becoming OBSESSED with Tupperware. I recently had to arrange my entire kitchen to give my Tupperware collection its own cabinet. You also don't realize that your weight rewards no longer revolve around food. My new rewards are shoes or gym clothes.
