First of all, shame on the person who "disagree"d with the recommendation to always wear a helmet. Second of all, I am a very new bike rider. I mean, I can ride a bike, but I've just started riding for exercise. My first ride out last weekend I did 7 miles. I probably could've done 10, but not more than that. I also think…

You should maybe contact FitBit about that, because in 6 years of wearing 4 different models of FitBits, that legit never happened to me.

There are tons of great resources online for finding out the nutrition information on single ingredient items like meats, fruits, veggies, etc, even this website. Your best bet is to use the Recipe Function, weighing all ingredients raw, and then weighing the final product and dividing by the number of servings. For…

Those are good options, but not the best sources of saturated fats. For someone that needs to get their HDL levels up, animal products are the best option, but adding more of the things you mentioned certainly couldn't hurt.

If you aren't hungry before 11am, you do not need to eat. I never ate breakfast all through high school and college, now it just has a fancy name - Intermittent Fasting. I'm a believer in only eating when you are hungry and eating whatever you want as long as it falls within your chosen diet plan. I actually changed my…

I don't really drink milk. Not because I don't love it, I do, it's for sure a part of my diet when I'm not Keto, but when I'm trying to keep my carbs low, milk just doesn't really fit in my plan. If/when I drink milk, it's always full fat. Also, any dairy product that I consume is always full fat as well - cheese, yogurt,…

I have an open diary, but I'm Keto.

Coffee with cream. 2 egg omelet with feta, spinach, onion, mushroom, broccoli, tomato, and topped with sriracha. Turkey sausage patty.

Honestly, I find it pretty darn simple to just glance at my diary and do the math, it's not really that hard.

I agree with Sunny_Bunny_, your HDL is definitely on the low side. How long have you been doing Keto? What were your numbers prior to Keto? I took a look at your diary, and don't see that you are eating any meat other than fish, is that an accurate representation? If so, are you opposed to adding more red meat, pork, and…

My diary is open. I’m mostly Modified Carnivore now, but feel free to browse.

You can just do a brand new entry. Or, just add/subtract the ingredients as separate line items. For example, I will get a Burger at a restaurant. The NI on the website/in MFP includes the bun. So, I'll select that entry, and then do a separate entry for the bun and use "-1.0" serving which will deduct the NI for the bun…

Too much how? What are your macros currently set at? If you are exceeding your fat macro and that is something concerning to you, use less fat for cooking. If it's for some other reason, can you please explain so that we can answer your question based more on actual specifics instead of just guessing what your issue is?

No one from MFP moderates this board. You could consider posting this on the MFP Suggestions/Feedback board. That said, you are able to change the macros to meet your personal dietary needs, you don't need to go by the MFP recommendations.

Measure liquids, weigh everything else.

A supplement is great, and sounds like it is definitely needed for you to get your levels back up, but once you are sufficient again, the best Vitamin D is what your body makes naturally. Even just 20 minutes a day of sun, which isn't enough to cause skin damage, can help. Also make sure that you are taking a K2 supplement…

Have you considered taking a Magnesium Supplement? Most people don't need more fiber, all it does is bulk up your stool, however, many people are deficient in Magnesium. It is known as the relaxing mineral, because not only does being sufficient help you sleep better at night, it also helps your bowels to relax allowing…

I think it's great that you are asking questions before just jumping in to it. So many people just jump in to a Keto Diet because it's popular and all they hear is "low carb and high fat" when really, there is more to it than that. Doing your research is super important. I researched for WEEKS before getting my carb intake…

Feel free to add me. My advice for someone just starting Keto. Don't count calories. The only thing you should focus on right now is keeping your carbs low. You can focus on cutting calories after you get adapted. If you are hungry, eat. Listen to your body. Andplusalso drink, drink, drink your water and supplement your…

https://www.kevinstock.io/health/do-humans-need-vitamin-c/ Good reading about Vitamin C. He actually has a lot of great information about the Carnivore Diet which is how I found him originally. His most recent post about Vitamin D is also great.

My H and I both try to only drink water during the day and like to have something different with dinner. We like unsweetened tea or you could do a tea with artificial sweetener if that's your jam. Also, for something fizzy, we really like the Zevia sodas which are sweetened with Stevia.

I've gone up and down in weight in the last 20 years more than I care to admit, but my lowest number is very realistic for my height and age, and is actually near the top of "normal BMI". It's also what I weighed in High School and while that may seem unrealistic at 44 years old, I don't care, I'm going for it!

I try not to let cravings consume me and if I'm craving something, I just eat it. It seems for me if I try various substitutions, they never satisfy the craving, and I ultimately end up giving in to it anyway. Chocolate isn't generally one of my cravings, but every once in a while at that time of month, I'll get a monster…

What have you been eating? How long have you been following a Keto Diet? What is your carb goal? Any foods that you dislike and/or avoid? Check out Leanne Vogel and Diane Sanfilippo's books, both have lots of great, tasty recipes. A lot of Nom Nom Paleo's stuff is Keto friendly as well. It's hot here, so I've been cooking…

I like the Al Fresco brand the best.

Who is wooing all of these posts? Jeesh.

First, like others have said, please don't stop taking your meds. Second, would you consider opening your diary so that we can see if there are possibly some logging issues? Without knowing what you are eating and if you are even eating in a deficit, it is very difficult for us to help you.
-
It doesn't really bother me. I eat a lot of the same things in rotation, so it's really just a couple of clicks and my food is logged. Every once in a while I'll skip a day because I don't feel like it and it hasn't really hurt me. I figure when I'm done losing, I'm going to probably have to log in some capacity for the…
