I tried adding a protein shake once for a week and gained weight even when I counted it in my overall calories. Is your food diary open? Maybe someone can make suggesyions.

C25K is what I am using to train for a 5k.I know I will not be ready for my first one on April 2, but I will just run and then walk as needed.

I used a free week pass and took a couple of classes to find a place I liked. I go in the mornings and find it is now just part of my routine to get up and get there. I love going but I do wish I had a gym buddy. I did at my old gym and it made it much more interesting.

I love my morning workouts. I also prep my food for the week on Sunday and plan my wardrobe for the week as well. I pack everything I need the night before and in the mornings I grab my bags and go. I like the routine though, so it's pretty easy for me.

My goal is to run a 5k with my daughter on April 16th. I am not sure I will be able to so by then, but I will give it a shot. Starting Coach to 5k this week. There is also a running club in my area that does short runs on Saturday morning. I hope to join them by May.
