Good morning! For some reason I am having trouble posting from my phone, so now I will do it from my iPad. PW 185.2 CW 182 I met with a trainer this week for a fitness assessment which turned out to be a mini workout and I was sore for 3 days. Back to Zumba this afternoon though.

No sure if my post went through. PW: 192 CW: 185.2

I went to my first zumba class in 10 years. It ended up being more hip hop but it was fun!

Hello all! My name is Jane and I am glad to have found this group! The holidays are always challenging for me and I am hoping to stay motivated and focused on my goal. My long term goal is 50 lbs but I will be okay focusing on small increments. I am excited to sign up for my first zumba class in 8 years today.

Is it too late to join for November?

I use the Jefit app and I worked up the Strong Curves routine to use with it.

I decided yesterday that I would commit to a 12 week plan. I plan on running a 5k on September 10. I have setup a written exercise and goals journal to add to my MFP. I created a training plan for endurance and strength and now I have to put all of this in place. I would love to join the challenge to stay accountable! SW…

I am planning on running the Diva Run in Peachtree City GA on Sept 10. I have 109 days to get ready! I added a little countdown box to the my phone screen so I can stay motivated.

I love MapMyFitness to keep track of my walks and runs. Even on the days I jut take the dog for a long walk, seeing that workout on my app makes me feel like I am still doing something towards fitness.

I have been at it since February. Love this place. feel free to add me.

Feel free to add me. My diary is open and I have lost 29lbs so far. Having friends on your timeline is a great motivation!

About 8 years ago I used weight watchers and lost 65 pounds. A change in medications and lifestyle add those pounds back. This time I am strictly MFP and will probably count calories for life. WW is a good plan but the expense is prohibitive.

I am 51 and just started with weights. Look into strong lifts or my favorite Jefit. I found several great plans and downloaded a few to try at home. The exercises have a demonstration of the form and complete instructions. I am still so intimidated at my gym (campus rec center) that I have a hard time using the machines.

I have been here since February and absolutely love this app. Sending you a friend request.

I sent a request.

I have worn my Jawbone Up24 daily for 3 months. I love it! It helps keep me on track and accountable!

I ate poptarts almost every morning for a year. Part of the reason I have about 34 more pounds to go

I had plantar fasciitis as well. I started a new job last year and 90% of my day is walking. I work the sketcher shape-ups and they made a ton of difference. Once I started losing weight and excising, the pain subsided tremendously!

My local Dollar store has pretty good frozen fruit. I also meal prep but I am single. When I cook a meal it is with the intention of freezing extra portions. I generally cook on Sunday for the week. I have a small bin in my fridge that I place meals for the week. I just grab what I need, place everything in my lunch bag…

I would be interested. I have incorporated the 21 day fix into my 1200 calorie a day plan. It really helped me see where my protein intake was low and my carb intake too high.
-
I am so glad someone else asked this question! I took my first spin class this week and I was sore for two days afterward. I am going to keep with it though and I may try the padded bike shorts!
-
I wear the Sketcher shapeups. I walk for my job all day and they have really helped with the foot pain. I have noticed since I have dropped some weight that the pain is not as severe.
-
My goal is to lose 64 pounds. Thanks to MFP I am down 17.8 since February. Feel free to add me.

Feel free to add me. My diary is open and my progress is slow but steady.
