hello, new to my fitness pal. So far it works just a little hard getting used to being on a strict number of calories a day. I love my sweets but I have learned to drink water when I have a craving which seems to help...if not I chew a stick of gum. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about cravings?

Hey Red, it is a little hard at first. With me as for cravings it was about spreading out food better to cover those times when I was most hungry and not when I just felt like eating. Then make sure I got an snack after diner. The time you eat is not as important as hitting the macros.0

I agree with AndrewD. Mid morning was super hard for me (and sometimes still is). I try to have a snack midmorning and again around 3 if I am feeling hungry. I pack my lunch and snacks and always carry nuts or a snack bar.0

Hi there! One thing is to make sure you're getting enough protein. Protein makes you feel full longer so you don't have cravings. When I have them, I try to work whatever I want into my daily allotment and then eat a smaller dinner or lunch.0
