  • I ended up losing the 4 pounds as well as 16.25 inches overall. Fair to midland, I guess. I'm happy with a loss instead of a gain or no progress, but I wish the loss showed in how my clothes fit/look. This is still good, I guess, with more losses to look forward to, I hope! Merry Christmas, everyone!
  • In less than 12 hours I am going to face the music. Sure hope I like the tune and can post some good news!
  • So Saturday morning I will weigh and measure after staying up all night hoping and praying! Lol! I would really like to lose about 15 to 20 lbs, but seeing as this challenge was less than 3 weeks, that might be just a slight smidgen unrealistic. Therefore, I'm hoping to have lost at least four pounds, which works out to…
  • Sheri, I'm confirming that Friday is the last day of the challenge so we weigh/measure/whatever that day, right?
  • Haven't checked in for a few days, but I'm still on my plan. Went to a get together Saturday evening and only had 6 plain shrimp (on my plan) and nothing else. Didn't do a whole lot of walking today, but will get back to it tomorrow morning. Both excited about and dreading weighing and measuring at the end of this week.…
  • Two straight days of 20,000+ steps, 11 straight days of being on this challenge, and 18 straight days on my current eating plan equals ??? In 8 more days at the end of this Challenge, I will weigh in and take my measurements to find out my results in those areas. Fingers crossed for a positive overall outcome!!!
  • Today was another day sticking to my eating plan and also included 18,000+ steps. Time to get some rest so I can get up and do it again tomorrow. Night, all!
  • Cc - - "no rum" - - hilarious! Love it! Two walks today totalling 67 minutes. Stuck to eating plan and cut down the portion size of my dinner to save on calories and be able to come in under goal and still got to enjoy a tasty meal! Jperdomo - - sounds like you are staying on track despite some changes in your usual…
  • Stuck to my eating plan, got in 16,000+ steps, and spent the day cooking to get my food ready for the week so that I won't be tempted to grab the wrong thing if I get hungry and there's nothing appropriate around. Glad I put in the effort, but now I'm exhausted. Good night!
  • Just finished a 93 minute walk covering over 5 miles. Now it's time for some dinner! Of course, I'm going to stick to the menu! Keep pushing forward everyone. We'll all be glad we did!
  • I became obsessed with trying to figure out if my eating plan is working for me or not, but I don't want to weigh until the end of the challenge, so I decided to check my progress with a measuring tape, and guess what? I've actually lost several inches! I'm so excited! Here's hoping that trend continues! Also, I got lucky…
  • Happy birthday jperdomo! Got in a morning walk yesterday with another short, 10-minute one in the evening. Got another walk in this morning and would like to do more this evening, but work is pretty busy (on a short break at the moment) and "overtime is approved," so it looks like I'll be pretty busy with work for a while…
  • Got in a walk in the morning and tennis in the evening. Stuck to my eating plan and going to get up for another walk tomorrow morning. Now, time for bed!
  • I was only able to get 33 minutes of walking in today (at 10 pm!), but I got it done, and I haven't been doing "clean eating," necessarily, but I have stuck to a T for 9 days now to a plan that I think (hope!) is working for me. Jeans are a little looser, so fingers crossed! I intend to keep at my plan for the whole…
  • I spent a bunch of time this weekend getting food ready and then just got back from a 66 minute walk, so I'm off to a good start!
  • Yes, Sheri said we were starting today. So excited! I'm going to do better this time around!
  • Although I agree with not beating one's self up over a bit of indulgence, I re-learned I HAVE to stick to a plan to a T with no allowances or I get completely derailed. I also learned that I need to adjust my eating plan/habits because what I have been doing hasn't been working. Finally, I learned that I need to focus on…
  • Jperdomo - Way to keep up the workouts and water intake. Also, yes, I am on Fitbit. You are, too? I'm always looking for more Fitbit friends! Sheri - Great job keeping active and staying off the "sauce." I've been doing the same, as promised! Kathy - Way to stay so aware of your intake and trying to keep everything in…
  • Tennis lesson tonight and a walk tomorrow morning. Now it is late and I am exhausted and going to bed. I will write more tomorrow.
  • Got another 10,000+ steps today and drank plenty of water. Hope everyone else is doing well.
  • Good news: 12,000+ steps and counting today. Bad news: I have to go back to work tomorrow after 11 days off. Waaaah! I'll probably get fewer steps during the week because of it but plan to get up early to take a walk before work each day this week. Sheri, I am going to try a ketogenic diet along with intermittent fasting.…
  • Sheri, I'll go 10 days without alcohol with you, but I usually don't drink most days so it is not as much of a sacrifice for me as it is for you. I met my step goal again today, getting over 10,000 steps today and yesterday. I also bought some food for my new eating plan. I will buy the rest of what I need next week and…
  • Kathy, Sheri, CC, jperdomo, and giglqueen: Sounds like you are all continuing to do great! Keep pushing forward to the finish! I have been working on getting more sleep lately and recently heard a couple of ideas about different eating habits that I am going to try since what I have been doing has not been working. Other…
  • I keep saying I'm going to post more when I'm not so tired, but I also keep waiting until really late in the day to post. Not good! I was going to do another two-a-day today, but when the alarm went off this morning, I was too tired to get up so I went back to sleep for about another hour and a half. However, I made up for…
  • Will try to write more tomorrow. Very tired after tennis, a walk, and housecleaning, so it is bedtime. Ate some junk today, but worked it off. Sounds like everyone is doing great. Keep going! D 4, W 4.
  • Short post since late and so tired. Everyone is doing great! Keep posting! Took two walks today, but didn't eat much since I wasn't hungry. Here's hoping that continues! D 4, W 12.
  • Kathy - As promised, I did rest on Monday. Great job on your tennis win on Wednesday! Sheri - You're killing it with all your P90X. Keep it going! I resumed my two-a-days on Wednesday and Thursday, BUT after an extra long tennis match Thursday evening, my heel / ankle pain really flared up, so I rested this morning and I'm…
  • MommaBeare - Congrats on the slacks! Awesome! Kim - Good job with the green monster drinks! Sounds like they're loaded with great stuff! I did my two-a-day again today, but will be taking a day off tomorrow as my body is insisting on. Came in under my calorie goal and apparently, all of my efforts are starting to pay off,…
  • MommaBeare - You're not the first one to call me a beast! Lol! Kim - I took your advice about leafy greens and ate some spinach today AND went and bought some more! Kathy - Awesome on getting that singles practice and doing well with your calories! I played some singles and then walked to the post office and grocery store…
  • MommaBeare: Love the story about your husband eating in the pantry. Lol! It's nice of him, though, if it helps keep you from being tempted! Sheri: I'm not sure who is harder on herself - - you or me! Just know you're looking great and your weight loss is definitely showing! Have a great weekend! Kbranch: Awesome job with…
