I'm in pre-op stages right now, I have a couple of weeks before surgery. I don't have stones, I just have a dysfunctional gallbladder. I'm on a super strict diet plan right now. My fat/oils intake is limited to just chicken or white fish (which I don't like much), low fiber, no nuts, dairy ( I miss cheese), no caffeine and…

I guess I need to research them more! I only knew of pudding, which I enjoy. It has a similar feel to tapioca

I have a 3 night away thing coming up and I appreciate all of the suggestions!

I am becoming obsessed with mason jar meals. I pre-pack a few days at a time, then I the morning I can grab a jar for breakfast and lunch, throw it in my lunch bag and off I go. I do chia seed pudding, oatmeal, refrigerator oats, cereal and yogurt, fruit and yogurt, although you can't have that. I have a board on pinterest…

I'm not big on curry, but one of the recipes, either posted here, or one I found on my own offers different things to do with the leftovers and one is a soup. I am a soup addict, so I will definitely give it a try there!

Thanks Wendy! I'm over the panic lol. I've been holding steady at 14 lost for the last few days. I feel great, I'm sleeping better at night, being more productive at work, and I'm not losing concentration like I was before I changed my eating habits.

I haven't researched it, but I heard once (in weight watchers) that a lack of food can have the same affect as eating too many. It was something about the body goes into a "shock" and starts to store up what it's getting for fear of not getting enough to "survive". If I'm wrong on this, I'm sorry for bad information, but…

I'm excited to try it with asian flavors!

Tonight, I'm going to reheat the leftovers and attempt to cook it longer than I did yesterday. I roasted it at 375 for 45 minutes. It wasn't horribly crunchy, but enough that it wasn't pasta-like, if that makes sense LOL.

I'm newer to thus and I don't know how to add friends from the community, only people I know personally. I welcome friends for support though.

Hello, my start was 320, I'm down to 305. I got a promotion at work and it required a new photo to be posted on our website. Two days and what seemed like a million photos and I got one decent one. That was one kick in the pants. My other is I have a year until my sister's wedding. I feel like a fat blob next to her young…

My start was 320. I did feel massive hunger the first few days, but it was normal hormonal can't get enough to eat time of my cycle. I feel much better now and it's slowed down. I adjusted my loss goal per week up. I also am now turning to veggies when I feel the need to snack.

I did baked chicken, spaghetti sauce and the squash tonight. I was surprised that it was crunchy. It definitely doesn't replace pasta for me, but it was good and I'll buy it again.
-
Thanks! I'm thinking about roasting it tonight for tomorrow night's dinner.

I would love some Asian recipes. It's my favorite but I'm already sick of chicken and broccoli lol
-
I'd thought about adjusting to 1.5 per week and see how that goes.

Sounds amazing!

Good to know!

That's good advice, cooking in advance so we don't burn ourselves!

It's funny when things don't taste like they are supposed to, but good enough to keep around. :)
-
Ok, thanks. I'm definitely not complaining lol, was just a bit worried that I was setting myself up for an unhealthy lifestyle change.
-
Awesome! Another good review!

This looks amazing and I have everything to make it. Might just be dinner tonight!

My friend recently had that happen in the microwave. I'll stuck to the oven lol

I love feta! Thanks!
