  • I have hurt my back but am hoping that I can start working out tomorrow or the next. I know how amazing this team is though so I am not too worried....I will try to get back to it as soon as possible!
  • What I have gained since challenge: 1. I work harder if I am in a group and have to be accountable to someone. 2. I am drinking more water. 3. I am working out more. Want to achieve by end: 1. I tend to go back to my old habits when a challenge is over...I don't want to do that anymore! 2. Plan my food days ahead so I am…
  • I am so disappointed in myself for forgetting to post yesterday...I really wanted those points! Ugh!
  • My gym has a stair-stepper but I've never used it. How will I calculate flights of stairs. I Googled how many steps in a flight but it varies from 8-14. Should I go somewhere in the middle, like 10?
  • Monday--not a great start this week; no workout and ate Easter dinner leftovers! I plan on hitting the gym tomorrow that includes the stair-stepper and a Zumba class. Tuesday- Wednesday- Thursday- Friday- Saturday- Sunday-
  • I love Mexican food (Americanized); beef enchiladas, chicken soft tacos, crunchy beef tacos, chicken nachos, quesadillas...and I like it a little spicy! Even if I am eating something soft like an enchilada, I like something a little crunchy with it. I try to make it as healthy as possible, but it's hard to do sometimes.
  • I'm not a huge fan of eggs but I will eat them scrambled with a little diced ham and shredded cheese. I will have to try some of the recipes posted...maybe I'll change my mind about them!
  • Still eating through my rainbow and working out when possible with company in town. I will be MIA over the weekend to Branson, MO with several girlfriends but I plan on continuing to eat well and working out in the mornings before we go on our daily activities. I will log everything on Sunday even though we have already…
  • This is what the "Golden Ticket #2 says about the Irish dance: "You must do all seven videos for credit. You can break them up over the course of the seven days."
  • I love getting on here and seeing some of the comments...you make me laugh and the encouraging words are great to read! I've eaten plenty of "colors" today, but my problem is having company in town. How do you get home late from work and then tell your company, that is staying in your home, that I have to leave again and…
  • Ate some red strawberries and blueberries with my lunch, also had a salad that had green spinach, red peppers and green cucumbers. Tonight I plan on eating some califower with dinner. I've been practicing my Irish dancing....my husband is getting a good laugh!
  • I ate red peppers and cucumbers in my salad, an orange, sweet potato and green beans so I hit several colors not even trying hard! I picked up some blueberries and cauliflower today to hit those two colors some time this week. I can do this challenge, no problem!
  • In my opinion the banana counts! I understand about the long day and add the time change here in MO it makes for a very tiring one as well. I only got in 20 min. but I plan on hitting the gym hard tomorrow as well.
  • This is my day off from working out, but I did continue with my "white out" and ate Greek today. I also did the arm challenge. Back at it in the morning....heading to the gym for Zumba!
  • You're fine, don't worry about it....I think she was just inquiring. :)
  • Exercise is done even though it was not as long as I had hoped....other commitments, and it's rest day on the arm challenge. I did stay sugar free today and I had Greek yogurt and spinach.
  • Sounds good...some of the best food is improvised!
  • Exercise in for the day, as well as dance practice, some Greek food, still doing the "white out", arm challenge and I posted to a new friend in the group. Hope I got it all in! I have to say...I know it is only the first few days of this, but it really is helping me! I didn't sleep well last night worrying about some…
  • You're doing great! How did you get your husband to do the dance? I asked mine and he just looked at me like, uh....I don't think so!
  • Understand completely.... Just do what you can!
  • Exercise=done, Greek food=done, sugar free=done, arm challenge=done (did yesterday too but forgot to report) and dance practice=done....I think the competitive side of me is going to help meet my goals!
  • Exercise done for the day, arm challenge done, practiced dance and I went sugar-free all day for the first time in my life! I'm feeling pretty good about my accomplishments!
  • On Roadblock #1 Dance, do you practice until you have it memorized or what?
  • The Triple Zero Yogurt says "No sugar added" so I'm assuming the sugar is from the fruit...
  • Ka97 don't drop out. I'm sure all of us at some point will not be able to do everything that is being asked...it's a lot to do. Don't worry about it, I'm sure the minutes will be picked up by all of us and it will be covered. I'm impressed that you ran a half marathon! I'm working on a 5K.
