  • I just purchased a blaze. The out of the box experience getting it connected and updated with android has been anything but seamless but after several hours I got it working finally. Be sure and reboot the android phone device and the fitbit (hold down left and bottom right buttons for a while) after loading up the…
  • Dude your my hero. Major props to your accomplishment!
  • Even if your body isn't ready, sounds like your mind is! That's the most important part. Glad to hear someone else besides me is on this journey.
  • My goal is 190, I was 287 when I started. I'm a 6' 1" tall male with diabetes type 2 in my family. Feel free to add me if you like. :)
  • Thanks, it isn't the plan to even stay where I'm at now. I hope to exercise more once I improve flexibility and lots of cardio (eliptical, walking, hopefully running!!!) and weights three or more times a week. Cutting out the sugar tanks my calories thus the…

He wasn't on insulin but he was on blood pressure medicine due to a couple serious quick surgeries that happened due to blockage. I…
  • P.S. If you think that is too much weight for 8 weeks, I started at 287 lbs so the percent loss of 7% a month is not so large... I should mention that I've done this before. Time to do it again! If and when I can get down to my 190 lb goal this year I will be extremely happy!!!
