I LOVE reading about the 5ks! Mine is in a couple weeks and I'm rather looking forward to it :) My NSV today is that I was able to zip up a dress I've not worn in 10+ years. I also squeezed into another and got it zipped, but still too tight to really wear. I'm pretty psyched about both!

You rock! I kept finding vintage recipes for it and was so curious. I might still make one someday just to taste it for myself.

that would be the best way since it varies each time.. or if you always have the same base - like 150 g yogurt, 1/2 cup milk, 2 Tbs protein powder, 12 grams honey.... then you can enter than as a recipe to use and then add in the other ingredients individually as you use them (dividing them in half since you are making 2…

Dang... great post and nice work!

Awesome! Congrats on your success so far!!

Spicy Hawaiian would be good as a glaze on chicken or pork. Heat it up to melt it down and brush on meat. The rose petal would be good for this as well. Serve with couscous, rice (or jeweled rice). The mango would be awesome with shrimp or scallops. The berried flavors would be good as sauces with roasted pork - you can…

Welcome! (and I love that dress!)

mash them up, bake them like a regular potato, I add in spicy flavors rather than the sweet on sweet that many do... chipotle chili powder, jerk seasoning, or cayenne work well. Cut them up and oven roast them them drizzle on a little balsamic vinegar. Boil them in some stock and puree them into a soup or add other veggies…

You're an inspiration :)

I use: 40 grams of regular oats 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup almond milk (regular milk works fine, too) as the "base" then add in: - brown sugar, cinnamon, banana or raisins - PB2 (peanut butter powder - 12g), cinnamon, banana - fresh or dried cherries, cardamom, honey - maple syrup, PB2, cinnamon - dried figs or dates, honey,…

Enter your stats into the app (or website) and use the calories given to you as a starting point for eating. If you add in exercise, eat back around half of those calories in addition to those base calories. Weight loss is mostly about what you eat. For exercise, find things you enjoy (and try new activities) and stick to…

I just finished week 8 :) It's a great program. Best advice: go to a running store and get properly fitted for shoes.. and slow down.

I get a junior cheeseburger, no bun, split a small fry with my friend (and don't eat much of them) and enjoy the tasty burger :D (I look it all up before I go so I know exactly what I can fit in my day.)

I make breakfast sandwiches from English muffins, half slice cheese, egg, and a slice of bacon or Canadian bacon.. wrap them individually then freeze. My own egg mcmuffins. I also make breakfast burritos. Just reheat in the microwave and viola! I also make overnight oats with a variety of mix-ins and flavors.

I did a rather strenuous hike a few weeks ago (1 mile climb of 2000' feet, 4 miles of switchbacks on the back trail coming down) and mapmywalk (on hike) logged in like 1700 calories burned for me. Yes, I ate ALL the things that day. :D

Where are you logging your meals? Looks like you only logged one day here on MFP for the month of June. There are some very smart people on here that might be able to offer suggestions as to what is going on if there was more information.

Well done!

No small success at all - amazing job! Love the change in your expression. Well done!

Amazing job! So inspiring!

Looooong time anemic here. The body doesn't absorb plant based iron well (the oxalic acid binds it making it harder to absorb, it's also a type of iron that is harder for the body to use), so meat and supplements are going to be more helpful. There was a prescription pill that was gentler on the stomach than some of the…

Keep going, it will happen. When we are larger, it take losing more pounds to start seeing a change in how clothes fit. Don't get discouraged.. keep at it and you'll soon start seeing the results more.

I've made it to week 7 day 2 of C25K and I DID IT!! I cried when I finished W6D3... and now I'm going out and running 25 minutes without stopping! I'm slow af and don't even care.. I'm doing it!! In a million years, I would have never imagined myself running! Oh.. and not on my "official" weigh day yet, but looks like I've…
