You are AWESOME!!!!! What an amazing accomplishment!!! BRAVA!!!

Nicely done!

I'd look at a big chain that has something similar and go off that (much will be in the MFP database) it won't be totally accurate, but you'll be in the ballpark. Have fun!
-
And a little extra tip, rub some A&D ointment into the chafed area before you go to bed and it will help it heal quicker.

From what I understand, each time you move a scale, it has to recalibrate. May be that your moving the other one into place changed the calibration? If you can run the same test without moving the scales after you calibrate, that might give you a better reading.

You can do it. There's a lot of great information here. Accurate logging will give you a good idea where things are going awry. Best of success to you!

When I quit (pack a day for years) I spent a fair amount of time finding other ways to deal with things. I was very intent on breaking the habits and learning all the triggers and changing how I reacted to them. If I was upset, I would read or write in a journal instead of grab a cigarette or something to eat. If I was…

I think this will be an eye opening revelation to many. A friend of mine kept grabbing some smoothie drink (Naked?) and the bottle was like 2 or 3 servings. He, not particularly caring about calories, just glanced at the label and thought it was 160 calories or so... not 480 or whatever it is. And for reals.. the "king…

Brava! Congratulations!

if it's just for the one day, it probably won't have any effect on your efforts long term. You may see a short term gain in water weight, but you're only 2500 cals (range) above your usual level. FWIW, it takes me much less to fill up now, so even on a few days I planned on going above my usual calorie allotment, I still…

I was going for guilty pleasure/happy songs this week: the new Justin Timberlake, Xanadu, Crazy Youngsters, Heaven is a Place on Earth, WTF, I Don't Feel Like Dancing, Clearest Blue, Wannabe, Shake Your Body. No rhyme or reason, just songs that make me happy :)

The salted caramel is pretty good. I also like the caramel cookie crunch (or something like that). Most of their flavors are pretty tasty (so far) I'll see about the Breyer's - sounds good!

I tend to mostly shop the perimeter: produce, meats, seafood, dairy. I occasionally wander to the frozen veggie section to pick up things to have on hand. And like seska422 said: make a list.
-
I've been digging the Talenti gelatos. I enjoy that they come in the small containers so I don't have to make too big a commitment to one flavor at a time. I'm fickle like that.

No need to be scared, take it one day at a time and know there are many here ready to offer support and help. Best of success to you! You CAN do it!
-
Don't drink it at all, not particularly fond of coffee flavored things, either. Water, tea, Diet Coke, vodka, wine... now we're talkin'. :)

Best of success to you!

I'd head to your local running store and have them fit you for shoes. They'll know how to work with your stride. Brooks and NB are awesome, but may or may not work for your particular needs, we are all different. They'll have you walk on a treadmill or on the floor and analyze your stride (my shop has a video recorder, so…

check your settings with Fitbit. I don't use the fitbit anymore, so only log onto fitbit to check weight fluctuations... sometimes. lol You may be able to specify what it syncs and posts
-
My scale isn't synced with MFP, I manually enter my weight on my "official" day. If I want to see more frequent fluctuations, I can go to my Fitbit account and see the trend there.
-
Thanks :) You can change that in your settings. I believe under news feed settings.
-
I've got one, it's fine and transmits my weight to the fitbit site and tracks it. (since I have the memory of a flea, I like that) :) It syncs each time you weigh.
-
I've still got a ways to go, but so far: I'm less inclined to NOT be able to do something because of my weight I ran for 20 whole minutes without stopping :) Did a really strenuous hike and didn't die! More energy I find myself crossing my legs more when I sit

Do you have access to any type of therapy? It may be worth it to talk to someone and work on those feelings.
-
The first thing to work on is realizing your self-worth. Be confident in your sense of humor and your loyalty to your friends. How are you messing things up? Is that something you can correct? If you are overpromising things, then try to stop. If you are sabotaging things, figure out why and see how you can stop it. It is…

Depends on where you are doing your tri. Mine was an ocean swim in the Pacific, so we had on wetsuits (brrrr), then peeled them off for the bike (shorts and dri-weave top over my swimsuit for me) then transitioned to running shoes for the last portion. Many of my more serious friends had on the tri suits and other things,…

From what I understand, MFP won't set for anything below 1200 for women, 1500 for men. Those numbers are considered the lowest to maintain base nutrition.
-
I don't find the logging a time constraint, it's now just part of my meal prep. I tend to grab similar things for weekday breakfast because I take the easy way out. Granted, I make my own egg mcmuffins and put them in the freezer so I can grab them, have overnight oats with various things, and yogurt as my main options.…
