I'll bet you're fun at parties. ;) "You can only have fun if you eat one of each hors d'oeuvres and have 2 glasses of wine. If you don't follow my prescribed way of doing things, then you are doing it wrong and should not be invited at all."

Thanks @MNLittleFinn :)

Well, today's run sucked. I had a grand plan of doing 3.5 miles (the furthest I would have ever run) and started out with my bluetooth earbuds not wanting to work properly, the knot in my neck getting more tight, I couldn't get my breathing under control, I found myself going over scenarios where I got injured and thinking…

Welcome and best of success to you and your wife :)

well done!!!

You've got this.. I've enjoyed MFP so far and while it has its shortcomings, it's also a wonderful tool for helping you reach your goals. There are also a lot of great, supportive people in the community here that can encourage and answer questions. Best of success to you!

A few more miles done this morning :)

This week has not been my friend running, but I went out this morning for a few miles and somehow managed my fastest mile and fastest average pace ever :D #teamsnail I need to take some time to catch up with everyone posting in here, I have been busy with work projects and have not given all the kudos deserved.

Two more with bonus: mass launch of the balloon fest! Made the last half of my run a little more entertaining :)

That's freaking awesome! Love that you did it together <3

Did my virtual 5k this morning! It wasn't pretty, but I did it :) (and got bling for it!)

I took it slow, used hiking poles, and rested when needed. It's a beast! :) Thanks @WindyCityGal160 @beckty and @austinsneeze :)

You look fabulous! Congratulations on all your hard work!

you can put the ingredients into the recipe builder on MFP and it will give you the nutritional info

I recently found that most things were too big in the plus department, so I took a deep breath and tried on things in the "regular" department.. and found things that fit! I'm still in that weird range between departments in things, but still getting smaller. I've hated clothes shopping most of my life, so hoping the new…

Many thanks, @RespectTheKitty!

this gif makes me happy. lol

omg, I just looked at it and 30 miles sounds like so many. I've never written out a mileage goal for a month - it's usually "go for 30-45 minutes and try not to die." lol

Make your own version of whatever it is you can't seem to stop eating. Many items can be prepped ahead and frozen for a quickly heated up meal. Preplan the night before for the next morning: overnight oats, cook your bacon in batches and quickly reheat in the morning. If you just can't let it go, find an option that fits…

Go, snail, go! :D (of course, this is after oversleeping this morning and not going out.. haven't quite become addicted to running yet and it's too easy to stay in my warm bed) Thanks for the encouragement, @dkabambe! Always cool to find those patient with beginners :)

Thanks @ddmom0811 and @MobyCarp I appreciate the encouragement. I've even set up my ticker with a little snail (my running spirit animal hehe) I do keep joking that I want to head to a lower elevation and run there, I'd love to see what would happen to run with air :D (I'm at 6000')

thanks :D I was thinking around 30, so I'll go for that. I usually (try to) run 3x a week, so I'll post after the runs. My first running challenge! eek!
