Big day. B-bye 180s...good riddance.

Seriously? I'm 51....have had three kids, got kicked to the curb in a divorce after 22 years and I'm basically a couch potato with 35 pounds to lose! And guess what-I'm doing it! I see no reason why not-and can't isn't in my vocabulary. You're the youngest you'll ever be. What are you waiting for?

Two pounds for me last week! Added back running into my workout routine now that winter is just about over. Still maintaining 4-5 workouts per week. Eating is still not always easy if I don't plan ahead.

Since hitting 50 my metabolism has slowed so it's definitely about cardio to rev the engine-but that makes no difference without reducing calories. Particularly empty calories. I think it's probably 60% nutrition, 40% exercise.

Weigh in on Wednesday-but this was not a good weekend for me. Two social gatherings with too much food and wine. Feeling a bit nervous.

I'm back on track but it may have stalled my weight loss (or worse). I learned that I always need to plan ahead! And I learned I need to work harder to break bad…

Thanks!

I have been doing Jazzercise since August at least 4 or 5 hours per week. This is NOT your mama's exercise class-it kicks my butt! But I've gone from nearly throwing up in the first class to reaching my peak heart rate and sustaining it for the hardest part of the cardio routine which lasts about 25 mins. I feel great and…

My goals are to maintain or increase my current level of fitness (I'm exercising 5X per week for an hour), and meet my nutrition/calorie intake goals daily. I will weigh at least 16 pounds less and will drop a size in 16 weeks.

Thanks for the added incentive! I'm excited to see what the next 16 weeks will bring!

Feel free to add me! I am a Fitbit user too!

Great! I
