Use an online calculator and as for the 40 lbs you would have to add that to whatever weight you currently are to get an estimate. It won't be accurate since that weight isn't a tissue or cell that uses energy but it will induce stress on other cells of your body to work harder

Counting Macros is the same as counting calories, BUT!! Counting macros can be more efficient for training and Athletic purposes. For example I'm an endurance athlete and if I start to feel like I'm not performing optimally I go back into my diary and see if I'm carb depleted and eating to much fat or whatever. So I can…
