I LOVE salsa on hashbrowns. I ate that every morning I was pregnant with my second child.
-
I eat it with eggs, salad dressing, I just made a protein dip by mixing salsa + 0 fat Greek Yogurt + whey protein. I did eat it with (sigh) a single serving of Tostitos. But rice cakes would work as well. I thought about trying it with the sea salt Quest Protein chips.

No protein powder in the gumbo. The protein just comes from the shrimp. It's just a box of Tony Chachere's gumbo mix with a 14oz bag of frozen shrimp tossed in. I usually make smoked turkey leg and sausage, but that puts me over on the calories and fat. Oh, I use Reserveage whey protein.…

The Chobani is yogurt, but the Quest protein chips are my goto when I need a little extra protein boost or just want to snack on something salty. I will also sneak in a Pure Protein bar on occasion if I have extra calories. I like the chocolate peanut caramel heated up in the microwave for about 15 seconds with a big glass…

You'll probably have to cut our the cheese and nuts in order to stay under your calorie goal and eat enough protein. I don't know how much you are going for, but I usually get about 100-130g on 1200 calories. My diary is open if you would like to take a look. I love nuts and cheese, but unfortunately can rarely eat them…

You look so cute and so happy. You have every right to be proud. Love the dress!!

@fairysue1- you have one of the nicest tush's I've ever seen. Great job!

I hold most my weight in my legs as well. I can't tell much of a difference after 12 weeks lifting from the front, but when I look at before/after pics from the side I see an overall shrinkage. Same shape, just smaller.

Good advice @robininfl! When I had to gain weight, I just ate a lot of ice cream. :P But again, 100lbs is not too low for 5'2" unless you have a larger frame or some other medical reason as stated above (my profile pic is 5'2" and 100lb). But I would assume your Dr. would know best. I think other posters advice to add 100…

Welcome. I was just in your boat and have lost the weight, but it did take me 10 weeks to do so. However, I was not making huge deficit cuts. You will lose quite a bit in the first week just from water weight, so that will help you out a lot. Good luck and feel free to add me.

@perkymommy, there is small framed and there is smaaaallll framed. LOL. She (and I) probably fall into the latter category. I spent most of my life at 95lbs at 5'2", so I could definitely see someone 4'11" being around 85-90. You also have to count boobage. Some women carry 10+lbs in their boobs alone, where as those that…

I've started calorie cycling with a fairly large daily deficit during the week, so I can eat as normal with the family on the weekends. That's to maintain however.

He's insecure. You are changing after 30 years of marriage and he is not dealing with it well. Continue with cooking what you want to eat and let him cook his own meals. If he negatively comments, get up and leave the room. As for your chip craving, I love Quest Protein chips. Some flavors are not so hot, but I like the…

Find your TDEE and increase your caloric intake the recommended amount over that while breastfeeding. Do not try to cut calories. Just use MFP to track.

Yes!!!! Amazing link. I made the Red Lobster biscuits last night they were great! Kind of weird texture as it's basically merainge (sp?), but the taste was spot on. I will totally be making those again, but cutting down on the salt. I love salt, but it was too much for even me.

It's a fine line to draw with significant others. My husband gained a TON of weight after we got married...almost 200lbs. I didn't care one way or the other except for the health implications. He had a lap band installed and lost 100lbs taking care of the health issues. So I know he will NEVER say he's not attracted to me…

That is an AMAZING transformation. I can't believe it was only 78lbs. It looks like a much larger drop.
-
I think everyone's scratching their heads on that. Low protein is easy...avoid eggs, dairy and meat. Eat fruit, pancakes, toast, waffles, oatmeal....

You know, I always thought of binging as the person sneaking into the kitchen in the middle of the night to shove a whole cake, a chicken, a jar of peanut butter and bag of chips in their mouth in like 15 minutes. You guys describe my everyday life (or what was). I just called it snacking. LOL

Ha! I have to climb up on the cable rack like a monkey in order to move the position of the cable connection. LOL

It would be interesting to see how it affected fat loss.
-
My fat distribution is all in my thighs. CW: 100 - size 2-4, SW: 111 - size 5

I'm all for equal rights. I never understood why I got in trouble as a kid for running around without a shirt when the boys didn't. Double standards are stupid.
-
I start with double over and switch to over under when I start to have issues. I had to switch which hands were over/under twice just to make it through. I don't use gloves or straps. I guess it will just take time to build up that grip/forearm strength.

That's awesome. I'm in Houston and ride along the bayou. I have a big issue with swarms of nats, especially at dawn. I wear my glasses when riding and resort to vigorous head shaking when necessary. LOL
-
Haha! While I have lamented my lack of boobage for most of my life, I think I would find big tata's annoying if I actually had them. I just roll out of bed and go running without a bra at all some days.
-
Shorty in the house. 5'2"
-
Sadly no. I've always been non-existant in the boob department. Not even an A. When I gained a few pounds, I actually got some fat there and loved it....maybe came close to filling out an A. It's gone....sniff, sniff. Only time I ever had boobs was breastfeeding.

This is by far one of the best posts I've read on here.

I'm 5'2" and wear a size 2 at 100lbs, size 0 if I want to squeeze. Size 4-5 if I want baggy. But all of my weight is in my thighs. So for me to find jeans that fit my thighs, the waist is usually too big. It's going to be totally different for each woman depending on bone structure and how you hold your weight. That body…
