You're right. 88 isn't bad. I was curious because most people I've seen either have the fat lowest or carbs lowest in their macro set up. I was curious to see if she was had a medical issue or if there is a benefit to it.

The pie chart is how many you have already used. If you use all your calories at the ratio you set up, you would have 50% carbs, 20% protein, and 30% fat. Right now your protein and fats are lower so 70% of what you have eaten has been carbs. The second is how many you have left. How did you decide on your macros? Are you…

I keto. If you add me if you want. I don't visit the forums often. Spend most of my time in the groups on FB. There's really great support there. If you're on FB, you might want to check out the Real World Keto group. It's a very active group. They are very helpful and science based.

I'm not sure if there's a time when you're supposed to. I figure I'll do it when my weight loss slows down.

There are lower fat keto people. Fat is not a goal and high fat is not necessary during weight loss. If you're on the Facebook, check out Real World Keto. There are a few people who do lower fat. The group can get a little crude, but there is a ton of support and science.

I do this too. I know gains are just normal fluctuations, but I find it very discouraging to see the little line go up on my graph. Also, this way it is easy to see where each dip is and how long it took to get there so I can establish a pattern and change things up if I need to.

I track here on MFP because I'm premium. I put in my info to figure out my calorie limit then adjusted my macros to 5% carbs, 75% fat, 20% protein. At 1600 calories that gives me 20 carbs, 80 protein, 133 fat. I do not go above 20 total carbs. (I don't do net) I try to get my protein in and don't worry about the fat. I use…

Been keto for six weeks. Down 12lbs and lost five inches from around my waist. I don't even want bread type stuff anymore. I do not drink BPC regularly but I do IF three to four days a week. I didn't even plan to start fasting. I just don't get hungry.

I slice a couple apples and put them in a ziploc with cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground clove.

I log wake time to sleep time. Today went from 10a wednesday and will end at 8a thursday. It's my long day so I usually eat a lot of veg and protein. Friday will be my short day because I will transition back to days. On friday I will log from when I get up at 1p until bed at around 11p. On my short days I can have…

Hi! I had mine done almost 3 1/2 years ago. I did absolutely everything wrong and gained all the weight back, but I know it was my own fault and now I'm getting back on track. I have no regrets about getting it done, just regrets about not sticking with the plan afterward. I can definitely tell you what NOT to do! One of…

I only have one friend and think I may be the official MFP threadkiller..... But I really would like more friends, I don't talk much but I log daily.

I have issues with binges also. I've been working a lot on my emotional issues and the binges are less frequent, but old habits.... I learned to binge within my goals. Not the best solution, but it takes a long time to sort out all the psychological baggage we carry around. Basically, I make sure I always have fresh…

I so agree with this!! I've lost more in the last month than my last three attempts combined! I have so much motivation that I never had before. I truly believe it is because I have been working on my self esteem and body positivity. I started treating myself the way I have always treated everyone else and it has made so…

I want to take a bubble bath. I haven't fit comfortably in a bath tub for decades.

I use lean ground beef and skip the bread. I put my burger on a salad and use ketchup as dressing then sprinkle it with parmasean for some cheese flavor. Sounds weird but works for me!

I work 7p to 7a. My routine is pretty much the same as akerra27 (have to ask.. is that from your real name or are you a cat?) except I need to eat before I go to sleep so I have a light Greek yogurt with 1/4 of Special K when I get home. My off days I eat normal with the rest of the family.

I got my sleeve about 3 years ago. Lost 40lb but gained it all back :( That's why I'm here now. Losing 33lb is great!! I don't regret getting the sleeve done for a second. I just wish I had stuck with my doctor's plan and talked to him instead of letting my fears sabotage me. You're doing it right by building a strong…

No. You need food to fuel your heart and lungs and such. If you burn off everything you eat then it is the same as not eating at all. If you exercise, you need to make sure you are eating enough calories to cover part of the exercise so you don't starve. I try to stay around 1100cal but if I bothered to go to the gym and…

Applebee's is one of my favorite places when it comes to staying on plan because they have a light menu where all the meals are under 600 calories. They list the calories for each meal in the description. They have the menu on line so you can choose ahead of time and plan accordingly for the rest of the day.

I'm cheap so I get the Great Value light Greek yogurt from WalMart in vanilla or coconut. I like plain yogurt best but it doesn't come in the 4-packs. I actually like the GV because it's thinner than some of the others and I like to mix Special K in it.

I count wake-up to sleep-time. On my daytime days it's morning to night. On my nights on, it's late afternoon until morning. I used to try to do it for actual calendar days, from midnight and midnight, but it just didn't work out for me.

I work 7p-7a. I count my days from wake-up to sleep-time since three days a week I'm nocturnal and I am diurnal the rest. For example, today is a transition day because I had the weekend off. I got up at 9a. I had coffee but I don't like to eat when I first get up, so I had my breakfast at around 1300 when my kid was…

I still drink coffee. I use fat free half&half and Splenda. If you really want to give up coffee, you could try tea. I drink a Oolong/green tea blend first thing in the morning. I don't like sweet tea so I only use one tsp honey. Usually, I eat to stay awake.
