The packaged ones are higher calorie, less food, and have a lot of sugar. You can flavor your own oats with vanilla, honey, stevia, fruit, and/or or powdered peanut butter for a lower cal, more nutritious breakfast.

You should never try to reach calorie goals with sweets, especially if you're already full. It will only add more harm, as you will want more sweets and fats. 2010 is a really high goal and unless a doctor told you to eat 2010, you don't really need to force yourself to eat more unless you're hungry.
