  • Hello, I am 61 and still struggling to lose, have lost 12 lbs so far but getting back into the logging, and be aware routine. I like to hear/read about success stories and different ideas.
  • I will have to get caught up on the reading tomorrow, so I can't respond to anything just wanted to wish all of you lovely ladies a Happy Mother's Day. I had a great day with my husband and son doing a lot of walking at a local mansion and the grounds surrounding it that is now a state park. Legs are tired but extra happy…
  • Hello ladies, Thanks Barbie for continuing the thread. Now I have to see if I can go back and get caught up for April. Boy, miss a couple of days and there is a lot of reading. Since I started somewhere in the middle of the month I didn't really set many goals for April. So for May 1. Still working on cleaning out the…
  • So sad about all the flooding in Texas and other areas. I kind of wish we would get a little rain here to wash out some of the pollen. They say the pollen count is higher than it has been in 25 years. Not good. I know what I said about the sodium, but we had Maryland steamed crabs for dinner for Tim's (son) birthday. I'll…
  • Well most of my post was dropped yesterday not sure why so I will try again. Heather- Sorry your DH is under the weather, hope all is fine now. I'm sure the noise from the construction is an ordeal. The picture of Bea is adorable. Tell the Queen happy birthday from Md. Penny- love the pictures- can't imagine living there…
  • Finally got a good nights sleep last night, it certainly makes s difference on how I feel and what I can accomplish. Hope for another good night tonight.
  • Heather, so glad you will be seeing your son soon. Thanks for the input about my son, you may be right about the autism spectrum. We have a close relationship which I am grateful for, but I guess all I can do now is continue to guide and pray that things will workout for him.
  • A little sore today. We were out all day yesterday doing yard work. Burned a lot of calories though chopping limbs and braking then up, then raking. There's still a lot to do in the yard but today will be a take it easier day for me. Have a great Sunday everyone.
  • Well I think I'm caught up on the reading ladies. My exercise has been lower this week but still logging and under my calories. Plan to spend time this weekend working in the yard it is supposed to be beautiful here. (MD) I'll have to watch the pollen though, the allergies are wreaking havoc to the Asthma. I hope no one…
  • Michele, Great dolphin!!
  • Had a good productive day today. Even though the cat woke me up at 4:00 a.m. Got a couple of birthday gifts for my son (Tim) and my sister. Then the begining stage of yard work. Much more to do. Plus I hope to clean out closets, this will probably be a long process. Becca - Thanks for the encouraging words they made my…
  • I'm new to this thread and new to commuity so please bear with me. I have been posting my food and losing albeit slowly for 8 months now. That's the longest I have stuck with any sort of diet. It is not always easy when family members like to eat, and I mean like to eat and snack a lot. Since my husband is diabetic I try…
  • Doing pretty good, staying under the calorie count I just hope this plateau is over soon, would love to see the weight going down again. I read on here how busy everyone is and feel bad because I haven't had any energy the last few days. Tomorrow is another day.
  • Is it to late to join this group? Enjoyed reading the tidbits of of everyone's life. Sounds like a great group for encouragement. I have been using MFP for awhile now on my own and new to the community, would appreciate the camaraderie of women. Not sure how to join though.
  • Feel free to add me. I have been using MFP for a while now, but a community of encouragement would welcome. Somedays are much harder than others! Lol
  • Run some errands and try to get my 10,000 steps in. Drink 50oz. of water, and stay away from all the Easter snacks!!
  • Today I will continue cleaning and getting ready for Easter company. Be extra consciencous about what I eat today just in case I slip tomorrow. Most of all get some rest later so I'm not dragging tomorrow.
  • I like the idea of this thread, accountability but at a reasonable level. My goals for the day are to log my food, drink at least 50oz of water, 7500steps get the house cleaned. With the help of hubby and son, I am an equal opportunity boss Lol. And to bake Easter cookies, then not eat any!
  • I would like to join if I can. Sw. 265 Cw. 263 Goal. 208 if I can meet this challenge.
  • Hi, I've been on MFP for about 8 months now. It is the only diet plan that I have had any success with. I have a lot more then 20 pounds to lose so it is a work in progress but going well. It took me a little while to not go over the calorie count but it does help me rationalize, do I really want to exercise an hour so I…
