The one thing I like about Lose It, it lets you edit a food on the fly. MFP isn't what it use to be, someways better others not really. Just my 2 cents.

Hint at what you might want in the future "I have my sights on these running shoes", "That new Fitbit looks pretty cool"...let him think it was his idea. Take the box of chocolates to a social setting (work, school, church...) and share his thoughtfulness...

I love my Surge but I would go with the Blaze. My band broke and they sent me a new Surge but the blaze you can swap out bands. Just my two cents.
