I deal with similar issues and I find that it isn't so much the type of exercise will help you lose as opposed to what you're eating. Especially with insulin resistance, once you start eating in a way that's best for your body, it can make the whole process a little bit easier. After that point, the exercise that you enjoy…

Literally anything sweet or anything dippable. I have one hell of a sweet tooth. Plus, I've always loved dips. Especially chip dips, no matter if it's basic onion dip or some fancy layered nacho dip. It's a sad guarantee that if I have something dippable, I'll eat wayyyyy more than anyone ever should

I agree with everything suesuedio said! Also, just as a suggestion for when you do want to add exercise, use your thurs-sun to do most of it. As someone who has done the split shift type work, that 45 mins - hour end up being super important for not getting overwhelmed. With that being said, if you want to, use that time…

I've been overweight my whole life and I completely understand this. I used to have these feelings a lot growing up, because it was the same thing, I had an image of what I wanted to look like and it just wasn't happening. I've been fortunate enough to have a lot of time to work on my self image and confidence, where I…

Feel free to add me! I lost around 30lbs back in 2012, gained it all back and then some mostly in this last year, could definitely use some support and motivation!

One thing that is really important, before you can dive head first into all of this is getting your mental health in check. I've dealt with very similar problems as far as school, life and depression go and honestly, the best thing is to get yourself in a place where you can push past the depression. When I say that, I…

Please count me in, it'll be my first challenge but I'm excited to try!

Another tip for that, if you get the exact same sub for dinner with the exact same toppings (and this works for anything similar), you can always make it into a recipe for yourself so it's literally just a one track item instead of having to track everything separately every time
