I find similar items, but pick one with a higher calorie amount, just so I remember to behave the rest of the day. I jog a lot too, so worst case scenario, if I want to indulge and can't get a good estimate or at least, one I feel comfortable with, I'll go spin down the block a mile or two.

I, personally, keep different protein bars in the house. I have a particular one that is chocolate, 180 calories, as opposed to 250 in a standard Snickers, it's as big as a Snickers bar and nowhere near the amount of sugar but still tastes sweet and I'm actually getting something moderately nutritional out of it. Worst…

I don't feel guilty, but I always think to myself, there's no way I'll have lost weight this week after feeling this full. I've lost 85lbs since October and have been down every single week that I've weighed in.

I do low calorie dressings, they still taste very good to me and honesty, it only takes a couple of tablespoons to mix in with a large salad. Two tablespoons of Hidden Valley light ranch is only 25 calories and it still tastes damn good! I'm strictly speaking from a calorie sense, though. I don't dig too much into what's…

I've got a Garmin fitness tracker. It's GPS enabled as well as counts steps and everything in between. I specifically bought one with GPS because you know it's going to be fairly accurate when it can count steps as well as track how fast you moved from point A to B to C, via the GPS. Now, as far as exercise machines, yeah,…

I've definitely noticed this. Not so much being hit on, but I find women smiling at me and making a lot more eye contact than before I lost weight. I'm not trying to sound like I'm King *kitten*, cause I'm most certainly not. But, I've definitely noticed an increase in conversations, smiles and passing glances.

It sounds like you know what the problem is. It'll just take your own willpower in order to stay on track. I can certainly understand letting loose for the day and then wanting to do it again, though. I try to avoid taking a day off at all because I'd probably fall victim to the same thing, however, not taking a day off…

It's a lifestyle change. Measuring and weighing can suck, but if you want to be sure, it's just something you have to get used to and deal with. With that said, exercise is a big key. You've gotta be, at least, a little bit active. That's what any doctor or dietician will tell you. An active lifestyle is essential to…

@megemrj Yeah, it's weird. Like I said, I'm certainly not saying all women are like this, but damn, I've encountered it a lot in my life. :s

No, not dominated by men, but a few places had large percentages of woman, working in small office environments, maybe that led to tension, I don't know. But, it always brings me back to thinking about high school. I couldn't even tell you a time any of the boys were mad at each other. But, I can sure remember Becky not…

I think a large percentage of the time, it tends to be women and I don't mean to generalize, but I've worked in so many office and retail environments where the women were just, downright, nasty to each other. I've never heard men at my places of employment or in my large circle of friends talk behind each other's backs or…

276lbs down to 195lbs, started in mid-Oct of last year, just hit the 80lb mark a few days ago, gonna drop about 20 more. God, why didn't someone tell me how awful I used to look.... LOL!

Damn good job. You rock!

I haven't really had anyone act angry. But, I have had people tell me I'm too skinny now. I'm not. I'm 195lbs at 5'10". People just aren't used to seeing me this thin. I was 276lbs last October, so it's a bit of a shock to them to see me 80lbs thinner.

I'm down 80lbs since my weigh-in a few days ago. It sounds silly but it wouldn't have been possible for me without FitnessPal. The app has just made it so easy and effortless to hold myself accountable. Started at about 276lbs and sitting comfortably at 195lbs at 5'10". Still planning to drop another 15-20lbs.…
