  • I just recently got a free sample bar of their newest flavor Mocha Chocolate Chip. I immediately purchased a box. I'm not a coffee fan at all, but this flavor is probably one of the best tasting I've ever had, as far as protein bars, in general.
  • If you're just using it for oatmeal, try unsweetened almond or cashew milk, 25-30 calories a cup which blows away any dairy milk, by a mile. And you likely won't even notice the difference if you're mixing it into oatmeal.
  • Stay under your calorie goal, find snacks that keep you satisfied. I've done this for the last year and lost 105lbs. I'll usually have a small bowl of cereal in the morning or a protein bar. I'll eat a small lunch or just a snack, in the late afternoon, like 1-2pm and then have a decent dinner when I get home but always…
  • I wouldn't care so much about eating out if the nutrition information they provided was actually accurate. The problem is, they're not weighing your fries, meats, breads and toppings... So you have no idea if what you're logging is even accurate, regardless of the info they provide. That guy at Taco Bell isn't measuring…
  • This might be the most ridiculous post I've read in quite a while.
  • I keep a variety of protein bars around just in case. If I walk in the door and want to go pass out, I'll mow down one or two of them. Choose the right kinds and you've got high protein, fiber and usually lower sugar and modest carbs. It beats the hell out of burgers from the McD's drive-thru on the way home from work.
  • I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's last year. I've lost 105lbs since last Octoboer. Just ate a defecit and it came off.
  • Why would you think you were going to drop 20lbs if it was diet soda? There's 0 calories in it. You cannot gain weight from 0 calories.
  • These are why I've been using... Best discovery I've made in a while. Lol
  • It takes me about 5 minutes to boil broccoli or cauliflower in a pot, sprinkle a little salt on, maybe a little bit of melted or shredded cheese and that's that. Or you can get bags in the frozen dept that can be steam cooked in the microwave, which takes, literally, zero effort. And they have a very large variety of…
  • I love Shirataki noodles... Super-low calories and tasty. The only downside is they're expensive, compared to regular noodles.
  • Down 105lbs and have been at maintenance for about three months now. Still don't care for photos with my shirt off, but I'll brave it. Lol! God, I can't believe I considered myself decent looking before.
  • If you plateau, you're simply not eating a calorie deficit or enough of a defecit to notice any dramatic change. Shave another 100 calories off your daily intake and the scale will begin to move again. This can be due to several reasons. As someone already mentioned, getting too lax on weighing and measuring or…
  • I stay within my calories whenever I'm awake, regardless of how late I stay up or early I rise. At the end of the week, I'm either under, over or flat. My body doesn't care when I got those calories.
  • It's truly a great fitness tracker. Like I said, I eat back, pretty much, everything it gives me and I've never gained weight. I specifically chose this one because of the GPS. Nothing will be more accurate than a step counter as well as a GPS that knows how long it took you to get from point A to B during a jog.
  • Keep at it! A year ago, I never dreamed I'd be running 5 miles, straight, without stopping or even feeling the burn. When I started, I'd get shin splints, be winded and feel like I was dying. Now, it's nothing. You'll be there in no time!
  • I go for distance because longer distance helps build stamina and that's what you really need. Raw speed isn't really going to help if you're running a 10k+ or something, you want to be able to go the distance at a steady pace.
  • I've been running pretty much every day for a year now. I started at 275lbs and am now 170lbs. I can run a good 3-4 miles without breaking so much as a sweat or getting winded. It's amazing. I know some people rag on cardio and promote weight training instead (not that there's anything wrong with weight training) but man,…
  • Bananas are fine if they fit into your diet. You could eat two or three twinkles a day, so long as you don't go over your calories and get your other nutrients. If it fits into your daily allotment, no foods are really bad for you, per se.
  • You certainly won't gain weight from it. Your body cannot gain anything if it's not getting anything.
  • Their caramel dip is fantastic with apples. Not perfect but for the low calories, totally worth it. Their marshmallow dip isn't bad either.
  • I've got a Garmin VivoActive. I've been wearing it for the last six months. I have it synced with MFP, have my activity level set to sedentary and I eat back, pretty much, all of my daily activity calories as well as any exercise calories that the VivoActive figures in for when I'm jogging. I've lost 105lbs since last…
  • Just keep at it and you'll be there in no time. I started jogging last fall at 275lbs. I'm now 170lbs and I run about 5k every other day, just around my neighborhood and it's nothing. I barely break a sweat. It's a great feeling to be able to do.
  • Most popcorn bags say how many calories are in a cup and the box usually says how many cups the seeds make. The popcorn I make, ACT II 94% fat free is 15 calories per cup. The seeds make 13 cups per bag. 15 calories x 13 cups is 195 calories for the bag. Done! Most popcorn nutrional info is similar.
  • Agreed, I usually only go for one of those if I have a hell of a workout... And even then, the psychological effect of knowing how many calories are in them kills my soul. Lol. Not to mention, if you actually weigh them, a lot of times, mine are over weight by as much as 7-10 grams, which ends up making it a 420+ calorie…
  • I agree and you're absolutely correct. However, for me, any way you try to fool yourself, it's just so little for, pretty much, no satisfaction, in the end.
  • I gave up even bothering with peanut butter. Obviously, I can fit it into my budget, but it just isn't worth the calories for what you get, at least for me. Literally, one bite of PB is 180 calories. Yeah, no thanks.. Lol
  • You can find Shirataki noodles at most Walmart stores. I just started buying them last month and although, they aren't identical to real pasta, obviously, they're pretty damn good. The ones I buy at Walmart are 15 calories per serving and two servings per bag. It's a pretty big bag for 30 calories. Last night, I had two…
  • I just discovered the birthday cake ones a few weeks ago. They're they damn devil! Lol
  • Your weight will fluctuate for the rest of your life. You definitely need to lose the mentality of being angry over a slight gain. You've got an entire life to live still. Are you going to be mad for the rest of your life if the scale ever moves up? You will mentally kill yourself, eventually, if you let any weight shift…
