I've had mine for nearly 3 years. I did gain weight after but I'm pretty sure I can attribute that to my all pizza, chipotle, and spaghetti diet. I started losing weight in February and I've had no problems. However, my TOM is so irregular. I'm not getting this implant again.

I use ideal shakes from ideal shape (same company that makes the ideal lean suggested above. Ideal lean is the protein which I will eventually be trying when I have more money to spend). They are meal replacements so they are not necessarily high in protein, but food for replacing a meal. I have one for breakfast almost…

I swapped out green tea for my daily coffee or latte and noticed my weight went down over time. I think that's more related to calories in vs calories out though!

I do white navy beans (pre soaked) in a crock pot. Cover with water. Add garlic, a can or two of tomato sauce and maybe a baby can of tomato paste, and then sliced kielbasa sausage. Salt as desired. Cook on high for 8+ hours. It tastes so good over rice, but also fantastic on its own!

If the coffee has cream, I log the cream and then end up logging the coffee as well cause I have the app open. Tea I usually don't.

My diary is open to friends! Add me if you would like. My day typically consists of breakfast and coffee of about 250 calories total (either protein pancakes or a meal replacement shake because I'm always in a rush), then lunch of about 300-400 calories (this week it is shredded chicken taco meat with fajita veggies and…

I drink water or some club soda with lime and I'll have a snack that I portion out. I know it sounds sad, but eventually I stop wanting to eat everything once I've drank a ton of water! This is how I curb the urge to late night snack in general.

I second the person who said salsa chicken in the crockpot. I'll add a little more spice and then eat the shredded chicken with some homemade fajita veggies and some cheese. Like a taco bowl! You could add a tortilla, but I opt not to. I also bake chicken in a casserole dish with green beans and cauliflower (potato if you…

Soup is always wonderful! I like to eat something spicy because it helps numb the sore throat and also it clears out your nose if it is stuffy. I used to make spicy spaghetti all the time!

Are you weighing everything with a food scale? Also are you eating back all or most of your exercise calories? Those calculations can be inflated. Those are the two problems I could see without knowing more information.

I don't think anyone was "bragging" about eating these foods and if they were, it's not really your place to lecture anyone, Doc. Many people on this website, myself included, are on here to improve their health and make better choices overall and live a lifestyle change that is sustainable. I would assume a doctor like…

I highly recommend spinning or other cycling classes! They are a great workout and you can always go at your own pace since it is dark. I like that I have to fit it in my schedule. If I know cycling is at 5, then I'll be there as opposed to just going to the gym to run where I can go anytime. Then it turns into "oh I'll go…

I have done two and won both. I just did the month long ones. I think overall I won like $40 total (after I got back the money I bet). I thought the first one was really easy as I was still in the beginning of my weight loss when pounds were dropping like crazy. I struggled at the end of my second one as the loss was…

I need to restart so I may do that :)

For me, it is harder to eat healthier when I am around friends because I want to eat what they are doing. I understand eating when bored. I try to leave more calories for the evening because I like to snack. I portion and weigh out what I want to eat and put the rest away. I try to drink water or club soda with lime so I…

The calories weren't too bad for a treat. Honestly money is a bigger deterrent for me when it comes to cheat treats as I'm a student so I have to budget carefully.

Update: I tried them! They were pretty good in my opinion. Kind of reminded me of a cheese curd but less gooey! However, $2.50 for the whole thing. That's $0.50 per nugget. I feel like these would be a good drunk food. Anyways, I'm pleased!

I second the Kodiak power cakes (they come in dark chocolate or crunchy peanut butter)! Get them at target for $5 a box otherwise they are pricier on Amazon or elsewhere. I have a few recipes on my Pinterest board for making my own on protein cake mix. It seems pretty simple!

My weight loss goal is similar! I have lost 30 and hoping to lost another 46 by New Years (or be closer to the goal at least). Feel free to add me! I am on every day :)

Yeah they say they are healthy, but you have to actually drink it. I could barely stomach more than a few sips. So gross and gritty! There are a ton of shakes out there and people will give you honest reviews of them. The issue with shakeology is that the coaches want to sell and they won't tell you how gritty the shakes…

I love mac n cheese and I love Cheetos, so I'm pretty excited! It's one of those things I have to try!

I started going to some spinning classes at the rec center on campus. Loved it! Some instructors are tougher than others and there is one that plays dreadful music (think bad 90s music and banjo solos). Besides the one who does the bad music, I think it is a lot of fun. You really can go at your own pace and if you get…

You just might be my spirit animal! Adding you!

Omg I want to try ALL of these!

I make shredded chicken with salsa in the crock pot at least once a week. I'll melt a little cheese and add some taco sauce and lettuce if I have it and it's like a mini taco bowl minus the tortilla :) great way to get the protein in! The cheesehead light string cheese sticks are a staple now too! Only 50 calories each!…

I use one of the Italian dressing packets. I add a little extra red wine vinegar, a little less oil, and a little bit more water. I also add in garlic powder. Shake it all up and it is pretty tasty and less calories than the normal recipe calls for because these is less oil! Play around with the proportions if you dislike…

I make salsa chicken in the crock pot (add several chicken breasts and a large jar of salsa to the crock pot then shred). I make little taco bowls with just the salsa chicken, some peppers, and a little cheese (usually about 20 grams). I don't mind just eating the taco ingredients without the shell, but they make some good…

I'm not sure what your food storage situation is like, but I am a grad student and I always make a large meal with multiple servings. I portion it out right after I make it into Tupperware containers so I have the perfect size meal to grab and reheat all week! I do things like beans and sausage, zucchini lasagna or pasta,…

I am in grad school now, but I also work and have been living a healthier lifestyle and losing weight. Preparation is key. I try to plan out my meals in advance and meal prep. I'll make a big batch of food and portion it out into containers so I can just take and microwave for lunch or dinner. Fast and easy! As for working…

I'm obsessed with their unsweetened green iced tea! It's so refreshing and good. Back when I had money, I could drink 4 trentas in a day when it was summer. Now I make my own :) When I want coffee, I'll do a nonfat hazelnut latte. You could also order a skinny latte, but the sugar free syrup tastes a little odd to me. I…
