And I do, on occasion. But, it's not an every day thing for me - as I mentioned earlier...those things tend to make me hungrier and want more. It's a rare treat for me and I'm ok with that.

I will say that donuts are the one thing that I do miss!! But I'd miss them on any diet if I was trying to be careful! White frosted with rainbow sprinkles have always been my favorite. Or Oreo Cream. oh! And a good apple fritter *drool*

I lost about 20 pounds eating LCHF. I include a lot of leafy greens in my diet (they are actually the main source of my allotted carbs) and don't really get where it's unhealthy. For me, it's just a more satisfying way of eating. Even at maintenance, I stick with it. I don't get as hungry, I'm not feeling the need to snack…

I pinched a nerve last year working on my shoulders - it was in my shoulder blade, but the pain I felt was in my traps and all the way down my arm into my fingers. I feel like my pain tolerance is higher than average, but it was awful - seriously nauseating. I lived on ibuprofen for 4-5 days with total rest from the gym…

Exercise typically kills my appetite for about an hour and then I get hungry, especially after lifting when I'm ravenous an hour later.
-
That's how I like my scrambled eggs! lol

I use the Isopure Cookies and Cream daily - added to plain greek yogurt. I can't say that I attribute my results to it because I put a ton of effort into exercise and counting my calories, but it does taste good!

I didn't gain (and I'm not menopausal), but did want to say that I hit a stall at the 3 week mark. As long as you're watching your calories, I'd say just stick with it...and see where you are in a few more weeks.

Old Thyme makes a bread called 647. It's only 40 calories per slice with 6g net carbs. I cannot tell the difference between it and "regular" bread.

My kids are 6 and 9, and I work full time as well. I'm in the gym by 5:10am most days of the week. It's really the only time that I have, so I just make myself do it. There's always a battle in my head in the morning - the one that wins out is the one saying: "Just stand up. Put your feet on the floor and stand up." And I…

I did, with my of my kids during pregnancy bc I'm O-, but husband is A+. I didn't need it after birth bc both kids have my blood type. If your husband is + and you are -, you should really reconsider it. It won't cause an issue this pregnancy, but could pose a problem in subsequent pregnancies.

I'm doing dry January also...but only because someone told me that I wouldn't be able to do it. lol.

My kids are 6 and 9 and I work full time. My schedule goes like this: 4:30-4:4am wake up 5:15-6:30am gym 6:45-7:15am shower and dress for work 7:30am wake kids and give them breakfast, pack lunches 8:00am get kids dressed for school 8:30am take kids to school, go to work 5:30pm go home, make dinner, family time 6:30pm…

I get crazy cravings for sushi if I'm low on protein. If I have a heavy lifting session and not enough protein afterward, it's seriously all I can think about. But I lean toward straight sashimi, so it works out - relatively low cals and a good bit of protein.

It works that way for me as well. I find that eating lower carb is a much more satisfying way of eating for me. I'm a huge sweets fan, so the other benefit of low-carb is that my sweets cravings are greatly diminished. All in all, I just find it easier!

I'm sorry...what?? All wives are like this? That's not a stupid, over-generalized statement at all, is it? I can assure you all wives are not like this. I am surrounded by my husband's family - all year, whereas mine are more than 1,000 miles away. And I make sure to make the effort to be welcome and pleasant. Partially…

I agree with the cut-back slowly suggestion. As many have mentioned, I also used to drink my coffee light and sweet. I cut back on the sugar to the point of taking it out completely. The thought of sweet coffee now makes me cringe. I do agree that coffee is a creamy drink, so I still add half and half, but just a splash…

Funny...bc I find the majority of people on here are against low-carb. I come from the "you do you" camp. Find what works for you and understand that others will do what works for them. I prefer low carb bc I find it easier to meet my calorie goals and am more satisfied.

This is my go-to recipe. The secret is the vanilla pudding! People request these all the time. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/15004/award-winning-soft-chocolate-chip-cookies/

I exercise fasted - whether it's cardio or weights. But I go at 5am, so my stomach hasn't even had time to realize it's empty yet.

I take Les Mills GRIT classes a few times per week - they are 30 min HIIT. It's brutal. I can't say that I like it...but I continue to take it anyway because I've noticed a difference in my fitness levels. I keep hoping it'll get easier! But I guess that defeats the purpose, huh?

I don't. I stretch lightly, but otherwise just jump right into lifting.

I'm 5'6, 127-129 lbs. I do about 75 min of cardio 2x per week. The rest of my routine is focused on strength training. I eat around 1400-1500 cals usually

M-F, I wake between 4:30am - 4:45am. Gym time is 5:15 - 6:30. I go home, shower, dress and wake my kids for breakfast, dress, etc. I get them off to school at 8:30am and then I go to work until 5:30pm. I should really go to bed earlier than I do, considering how early I get up, but it's usually around 10pm.

Long term failure? Not necessarily true, at least not for everyone. I did keto for 5-6 months and dropped 15 pounds that no one else thought I had to lose. I raised my carb intake (although I guess still considered LC based on the responses here) and lost an additional 5 pounds. I've easily kept the weight off. Granted,…

When I was in Keto, I got in the habit of watching my gum. When you try to stay under 20g carbs and each piece is 1g, that adds up quick. I got in the habit of eating 1/2 piece at a time. I still am moderately low in carbs (less than 75g/day) and while it's not necessary to watch my gun intake any longer, I still break my…

I didn't read through 178 pages, so my apologies if this has already been mentioned! But my new favorite is the Dang! Salted Cocoa Coconut Chips. They are freaking delicious! The small pack has only 115 cals and 8 net carbs, which is a lot better than the granola that I usually put in my greek yogurt. Bare Naked makes a…

I'd give it a few more classes before you decide whether to try the padded shorts. It takes some time to get used to, but I found after my first few classes, it didn't hurt anymore.
