Yes, I gained 30 lbs after being on the med for 6 months. I was also hospitalized and had heart palpitations. Doctor that prescribed stated my dosage was so low it couldn't possibly cause weight gain or heart palpitations. It must be because I'm eating too many carbs and not exercising enough.
