Thanks! Maintenance certainly has its own challenges but I’m determined to keep the promise I made to myself all those years ago. My lifestyle has changed so much since then, I try to be as active as possible and keep challenging myself because only then will I know what I’m really capable of achieving :)

Thanks! :)

Thank you! I feel about 10 years younger now that I’ve maintained a healthy weight and stayed active! :)

Were they sneezing? :D <3 beards are awesome! I suppose it depends on the guy but I usually prefer some facial hair.

Congrats on the 4 years maintaining! Looking gorgeous!

Both excellent suggestions! But alas, I cannot take on any new names at this time. I’ll keep them in mind though.

Yes this name was given to me. “Plaque build-up” is only a pseudonym.

Plaque build-up in the arteries can be deadly. It might be one of the world’s leading causes of death.

I’m not into archery but on one of my hiking trails there’s a public archery range and it covers a huge area with targets up and down some pretty steep hills, all intertwined with trees. Not to mention you have to hike at least a mile just to access it! I’ve hiked through it and watched some of the archers, I can see how…

Hello! I lost 3 stone to get to my ideal weight and I’ve maintained for 6 years now. If I could do it, so can you! :) I used to be sedentary but now I’m a runner, trail and pavement. Feel free to add me! :)

Vacation pix from earlier this week. I’m carrying an extra 5lbs gained over the summer but didn’t let that hold me back from feeling bikini confident or eating all the foodz! :p gonna get back to calorie counting and lose the 5 lbs to return to my maintenance range :) hope everyone had a fantastic summer!!! <3

Cars. Statistically I’m more likely than anything to be injured or killed in an auto accident but they are kind of a necessary evil. Two years ago a distracted driver ran a red light and hit me, totaling my car and injuring me, luckily I’m all recovered though. A few years before that a driver rear ended me at a stoplight…

Fantastic progress! :) And a great excuse to go shopping ;)

In the colder months I drink a lot of hot tea (black and herbal, no sweetener) and I also make big pots of homemade vegetable soup, warm, hearty and filling :)

Angels maybe? o:) I’ll take devils food cake any day over angels food! >:)

I have actual muscles! :D :D :D As a person that was essentially completely sedentary until the age of 38 when I finally got my act together to lose weight to halt my health decline due to being obese, actually being toned and having strong muscles never ceases to amaze me :) I’m now a runner and trail running is my true…

Their calorie counts are fairly accurate. I’ve eaten McDonald’s all through my weight loss and almost 6 years of maintaining and had consistent results. I’d recommend their Southwest salad with grilled chicken and one southwest dressing packet. Or since they sell breakfast all day now I often get the Egg White Delight,…

When people find out that I hike and trail run by myself (I prefer it that way!) they inevitably ask “aren’t you afraid of being out there all alone?” And for me it comes down to Risk vs Benefit. As long as I feel that the benefits outweigh the risks then I will continue to go out alone. Of course things could always…

iRunner app, it’s served me well with consistent results for about 5 years now.
