Bare. I’m a runner, trail and pavement. It just feels more fun, free and natural for me, but I realize I am not “normal” :D :D :D

I really appreciate that they include the calories for eating the whole box. I cannot confirm nor deny that I’ve ever consumed the whole box in one sitting :D :D :D

I’m gonna have to check this out! I’m a 36” inseam but I can make due with 34 or 35 depending on the pant style. I’ve been lucky to find some lengthier yoga pants at TJMAXX but it’s definitely like a treasure hunt :D I completely understand and sympathize with the “pretend I’m short and my pants are too long” thing <3 :)

Probably “too much too soon” and an issue with your running form. Rest and recover, sounds like your knee joint is inflamed. When you recover and try running again you need to ease into it slowly, try the C25K app and look up tips on good running form online. Hope you recover soon and best of luck to you! :)

Sweat is not an indication that you are burning fat, it’s just your body’s attempt to regulate temperature. You are burning fat even while you are asleep, probably even more than when you are working out. It’s not “slow metabolism”, eating less is what’s required for weightloss, count calories as accurately as possible,…

Statistically speaking, the success rate for weightloss and long term maintenance is extremely low... but this is purely statistical NOT individual. Individual results depend on the individual person. You might want to have a longer discussion with the doctor to figure out if he’s speaking in statistical terms or about you…

This is just my own personal experience, YMMV of course: I had the beginnings of NAFLD back when I was obese (I’m also hypothyroid) I was suffering from liver pains that progressively got worse and my ALT and AST levels were in the high 50’s. After more tests to rule out other causes, my doctor told me to exercise and…

Lots of great hacks above! I’d add to not underestimate the power of walking. Going for almost daily walks was instrumental in helping me shed the pounds and ease me into exercising regularly for the first time in my life.

A few years ago I was into doing puzzles, like 5,000 pieces or more. I used to dream about the puzzle pieces for nights on end :D Maybe take up a hobby where you can really immerse your mind and lose yourself for awhile, give your brain something else to obsess about. Best of luck to you! :)

I didn’t hate running but I only got into it because I needed a maximum calorie burn in as little amount of time as possible without requiring any equipment. Trail running has become my true passion and I can’t imagine my life without it! 8 years ago I lived a 100% sedentary lifestyle, now I crave running, I want it, I…

My legs! Trail running is my passion!

I posted in this thread 3 years ago and am happy to report that I’m still in maintenance, which makes it 7+ years since I lost 43 lbs and went from obese and sedentary to fit and active. <3 Loving my 40’s!!! <3 Before I carried a lot of weight around my middle, after losing I got my waist back... My true passion is trail…

Hourglass shaped curvy runner here, been running trail and pavement for 7+ years and the curves haven’t budged an inch. Running has only had positive body changes for me like improved posture (which helps in the chest area), nicely defined legs, muscular calves, lifted booty and a stronger core... it’s only made my life…

Not sure if this will help or not but I have a couple of sitting cushions that have a little cutout area for the coccyx to supposedly relieve any pressure on the tailbone. Would it be worth it to have a little hole cut out of the yoga mat so that nothing presses on your tailbone but you don’t have to support with your…
