Five cups of popcorn isn't "a lot", a serving is usually three cups. I feel like that kind of thinking is more dangerous than eating five cups of popcorn. No, a 500 calorie per day deficit is for 1 pound per week, not 2. For 2 pounds you need a 1,000 calorie per day deficit.

Halloween is one day. Thanksgiving is one day. Christmas is one day. All those days in between you can stay on plan and in the end you'll be fine. And exercise isn't the "most key component to losing weight". You don't need to work out at all to lose weight and certainly not every day.

Exactly. I only see my family three or four times a year. They ask if I need something different or prepared a certain way. "No, whatever you make is great." That's my answer. I'm just happy to be there.

My advice is not to compare yourself to your sister. All three of my sisters are 6 inches shorter and more than 100 pounds less than me. We're all 4 completely different people.
