I started seeing a podiatrist last fall. His top recommendations are Brooks and New Balance. I went with the New Balance 1540 and it is not an exaggeration when I say they changed my life. [edit] I should add I am not a man but the recommendation works regardless of gender. I'm also heavy and blow through shoes quickly.

:o Do you.... like the paper? I wouldn't be willing to risk it. Moms are usually right.

I started with around 225 pounds to lose. I've lost 140 of that so far.

Breakfast for the week is 100g cucumber, 113g cottage cheese and two hard boiled eggs. Lunch is 5oz boneless skinless chicken tenderloins, 100g green beans roasted in coconut oil and black olives. Dinner varies every night but this week will be either turkey or fish.

All week I've had an egg muffin with mushrooms, spinach and onions with cottage cheese.

Sometimes I eat once a day, sometimes four. Mostly two or three. I just do what feels right that particular day

The only recipe I need for eggplant is patience because it takes a long *kitten* time to cook

If it makes you feel like that, stop doing it

The past week? Everything. Normally? Almonds.

I love cumin

That sounds absolutely terrifying. Bariatric surgery isn't something you just do over a weekend.

Well, I thought my first Home Chef delivery was today so I was going to make the steak. Turns out it's next Tuesday so I just ate tortilla chips and mini kit kats.

I signed up for a week of Hello Fresh, Blue Apron and Home Chef. I had 50% off each so I plan on giving them a shot. If I find one earth shatteringly amazing, I'll probably continue with it. I get my first delivery tomorrow.
