  • I agree wholeheartedly! I had horrible portion control until I stated taking the time to measure out the foods I eat the most of. This way, I was able to look at a serving on my plate and remember roughly how much of the plate was covered. As long as its a "normal" food for me, I'm pretty good at eyeballing the correct…
  • I had a carb rich lunch. It's rare that I treat myself to such, but I've been having a bad month and the treat helped cheer me up. I walked an extra quarter mile today to help offset the meal. I'm going to do extra squats before bed too.

  • I usually go very simple with fish. This time around I bought salmon and tilapia. Both I love to marinate with a mix of fresh lemon juice, salt, pepper, plus a variation of other spices (to change things up). Then I bake it. Switching up the spices makes it easier to eat fish most of the time.
  • I went grocery shopping this morning and now have a multitude of healthy food in my kitchen. I tossed out the sweets and replaced them with fresh fruit and vegetables. I bought fish...lots of fish. Now to prep meals and snacks for the week!
