Don't eliminate the medicine unless you are mentally ready to. If you need to, switch medicines. How much of a calorie deficit are you on?

Read what I put before this. If you loop it up once (bring bottom of braid to base of neck, place ponytail there to hold braid in loop), it wont swing into your armpits. I promise.

My hair goes down to the top of my rear. I braid it straight down the back, then loop it up and hold it with a ponytail at the base of my neck. The braid rests about 6 few inches below my shoulders, and it doesn't hurt when running. Also, doesn't damage the hair, nor does it tangle, nor does it give you a headache (unless…

Okay so I was hooked on this show while visiting my parents 1.5 weeks ago, and it was my spark to get a gym trial (and as of today, membership!!!) No lie. This show did it for me. It actually mortified me (not trying to be mean). I would watch this show late at night, and as a result I wouldn't get hungry for a midnight…

Angel food cake with fruit. So yummy! ^^^ Letting a pip of chocolate dissolve on your tongue releases endorphins, so enjoy that chocolate for more reasons than flavor! :) Also, pudding is a really good low calorie dessert, especially if you make it with almond milk.

Try the Jillian Michael's detox water for a week before/during your TOM. then the scale won't go up due to water! It's 60 oz water, a yogi detox tea bag steeped for 10 minutes, 2 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 tbsp cranberry juice (no added sugar). Drink it every day for a week!

I don't weigh my veggies, unless it's a high calorie one, and same with fruit. But I do weight meat by ounces, and cheese, dressings, and other high calorie food by grams. At first it's discouraging. Realizing I can only put 6.5g of cheese on half a tuna melt was sad the first time, but now I'm surprised by how much it…

Definitely an I spiration! How many calories did you eat a day? :)

I really hope this group grows because I would love to have others my age supporting me as I support them! I'm 24 years old, female, and currently weigh 234.5 pounds. I joined MFP 6 days ago, but my lifestyle change began 5 days ago. In 4 days time I have lost 1.5 pounds! I got a gym trial, and am getting the membership…

I've gone through the ah-ha moment and weight loss twice now. Once 7 years ago when I dropped 75 pounds over 6 months, and then just a few weeks ago when I got fed up and realized I needed to lose 120 pounds (gained weight over 3 years due to traumatizing life event). Spring is here, I got out my food scale, joined MFP,…

Add me! I'm new on here, but have been super faithful to tracking calories, checking the community, and exercising daily! I'm 24, weight 235, and NEED to drop 100# to be borderline obese for a 5'2" female. 7 years ago I went from 185# to 112.5# over the course of 6 months. 3 years ago I went through a horrible experience…

Sounds like your medicine isn't right for you. Talk to a clinical psychologist, not just a family practioner (if that's what you've done). I switched to an antidepressant that focuses on anxiety, and it's been a day and night difference. Don't live in the darkness when a workout and doc appointment is within reach!!

http://pin.it/pfPVYUP I saw this last night and made one for myself. Short term goals are dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant, new tennis shoes, and a pair of workout shorts/tank top. Long term goals include cowgirl boots, summer shorts, summer shirts, fall wardrobe, indoor skydiving, a trip to Wisconsin dell's to…

I saw this super awesome and cheap rewards board on Pinterest last night and made one myself!. You take computer paper, make a huge grid (4x4 squares) on it, and you turn it into a weight loss tracker. Each pound you lose. You 'x-off' the number you no longer weigh. Then, off to the side she made a list of goals and non…

Hello! I was first diagnosed by a family doctor 7 years ago, and they switched brands 5 years ago. 2 weeks ago we switched to one that focused more on the anxiety side on the drug spectrum. Medicine has been a life changer. Especially this last one. Instead of being too blah to do anything all day, I'm addicted to keep…

I actually need to lose 101 pounds to be in the healthy BMI range, but my overall goal is to lose 121 pounds in a year.. my numbers are ridiculously high compared to others'. I recently joined a gym, I'm about to go workout. I do over 1 hour of cardio a day, and eat clean now. I'll add you:)
